<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Um die Erfindung in ihrer Arbeitsweise zu veranschaulichen, wird sie an Hand der Zeichnungen näher erläutert, wobei auch eine herkömmliche Anlage bzw. Vorrichtung kurz besprochen und veranschaulicht wird, um die hier wesentlichen Unterschiede anschaulich aufzuzeigen. Es zeigen Fig. 1 bis 4 verschiedene Schnittpläne, wobei die Fig. l und 2 Schnittpläne ohne und die Fig. 3 und 4 Schnittpläne mit Kopfschnitt veranschaulichen ;

<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

The invention relates to a device for dividing plate-shaped workpieces with a rip saw and a cross saw, the cutting planes of these saws are vertical and at right angles to each other and both the rip saw and the cross saw in the direction of the workflow, a support table with a slide-in unit in front of each is, and the latter is used for the step-by-step or cyclical delivery of the workpieces to the respective saw, the support table assigned to the cross-saw and / or a transfer device having a
Longitudinal side is parallel to the cutting plane of the longitudinal saw and a discharge table is provided on the discharge side of the cross saw.
Devices of this type are known. So-called under-table saws are generally used as rip and cross saws, in which the separating circular saw blade along the
Machine table travels, with the workpiece standing still during the cutting process and held on the machine table with a so-called pressure bar. Large-format, plate-shaped workpieces are divided on and with devices of this type, u. between so-called
Format cuts that are then processed further. The plate-shaped workpiece is divided into longitudinal strips as it passes through the first or longitudinal saw step by step or in cycles, and these longitudinal strips are then fed individually or in groups in the same or different steps to the transverse saw, which then enables the format cuts to be obtained.
These processes are program-controlled in systems of the type mentioned and run more or less automatically. The plate-shaped workpiece is divided into the desired format blanks in a single pass through this device. This is the case with such
Partitioning plans or cutting plans possible, in which the first or longitudinal cut runs over the entire plate-shaped workpiece. Since, for reasons of material savings, distribution plans and cutting plans are also optimized with electronic computing devices, i. that is, the part or cutting plan is created in such a way that as little waste and waste as possible occurs when the plate-shaped workpiece is divided, part and cutting plans that have so-called head cuts occur more and more often.
A plate-shaped workpiece that is to be divided according to a distribution plan or a cutting plan with a head cut cannot be separated in a single pass by such a device, unless the device has a correspondingly high and additional outlay on equipment.
Devices of this type have already been developed and built. The side was
Rip saw arranged its own head cut saw. Although this device works as desired, it is very expensive because of the associated outlay in terms of apparatus and equipment and is therefore only suitable for devices and systems of this type which have very high working capacities.
In another known solution, a head saw was provided in the dividing table in front of the rip saw. Although this device works in principle satisfactorily, it is not possible with this construction to arrange the head saw and to store it in such a way that it can be covered during the sawing process. The slide-in unit that is assigned to the longitudinal saw moves over this head saw, so that space and space above the head saw must be kept free so as not to hinder the movement of the slide-in unit.
The operation of a device of this type is therefore associated with a great deal of noise and dust development, the dust development not only having a considerable adverse effect on the ambient conditions for the workers involved, but also for the workpieces themselves with a refined surface, this dust is harmful, since the surfaces mentioned are all too easy the workpieces can be scratched and damaged.
Attempts have also already been made to solve the problem of the head cuts in terms of process or work on devices of the type mentioned at the beginning with a rip saw and a cross saw. The panel pack was pushed through the rip saw without being cut and then the head cut was carried out with the cross saw. The main part is then pulled back up to the longitudinal saw and then divided by longitudinal and cross-sections as before.
While the main part has been withdrawn, the head part is removed from the workflow, stacked and then placed in front of the rip saw after dividing the main part and then separated by longitudinal and cross-sections. But this is extremely cumbersome and time-consuming
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
and associated with high loss of time.
Starting from a device of the type mentioned at the outset and taking into account the prior art shown, the invention now proposes to solve the problem shown that the outlet table is mounted horizontally and parallel to the cutting plane of the cross saw and on that side of the support table of the longitudinal saw, the is adjacent to the cross saw, a transport path is provided, the end face of this transport path applied to the support table of the longitudinal saw being flush or at least adjacent to the line along which the end face of the discharge table facing the cross saw moves when it is displaced and the discharge table with this end face on the end face of the transport path is adjustable, the transport direction of which is directed to the support table of the rip saw.
Although this device according to the invention works more time-consuming than the known devices with its own head-cutting saws, it is much less complex in terms of apparatus and equipment, and can therefore be used successfully in relatively small systems in commercially operated companies.
In order to illustrate the invention in its mode of operation, it will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawings, wherein a conventional system or device is also briefly discussed and illustrated in order to clearly illustrate the essential differences here. 1 to 4 show different sectional plans, the FIGS. 1 and 2 illustrating sectional plans without and FIGS. 3 and 4 showing sectional plans with a head cut;
FIG. 5 shows a plan view of a device of conventional design and FIG. 6 is a plan view of a device according to the invention, it being noted here that the same reference numerals in FIGS. 5 and 6 designate the same parts in terms of function and structure.
EMI2.1
or rip saw --10-- is a support table --12-- in front with alignment cams --13--. A slide-in unit --14-- with clamps --15-- can be moved above this support table --12--.
Against this support table --12-- is a lifting table --16-- and a roller-
EMI2.2
with a subsequent support table --19-- for the cross saw --11--, whereby an alignment ruler --20-- and alignment cams --21-- are also provided here for positioning the workpiece strips before carrying out the cross-section. A slide-in unit --22-- with clamps --23-- feeds the workpiece strips of the cross saw --11--, to the outlet side of which a stationary discharge table --24-- connects. The slide-in unit --22-- can be made in one piece, so that this slide-in unit --22-- can only be moved as a whole in the working direction.
However, it is also conceivable and known to subdivide the plug-in unit 22, so that at least two sub-units of this type are present, which can be delivered more or less simultaneously, but by different distances of the cross-saw 11.
From the control panel --25--, the system or device is monitored by an operator --26--. A workpiece input is provided between the lifting table --16-- and the support table --12-- of the longitudinal saw --10--, which is not shown here for reasons of clarity and which can be designed as a vacuum input or as a roller input.
EMI2.3
1-meter workpieces, whereby the length of such a workpiece can be up to 6 m and more. The sectional plan according to FIG. 1 provides all the same format cuts --A--, which are obtained by longitudinal cuts - 1 - and by cross sections --2--. 5, the longitudinal cuts-1-are made one after the other, then the
EMI2.4
2, various cuts - A and B - are provided, three strips being obtained with continuous longitudinal cuts --1-- on the longitudinal saw --10--.
If the slide-in unit --22--, which is assigned to the cross saw --11--, is divided, you can
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
all three strips at the same time, but by different steps of the cross saw --11--. If the plug-in unit --22-- is not subdivided, however, the transfer device --18-- first takes over the two strips with the format cuts --A-- and then divides them and then the third strip with the format cuts --B -.
3 and 4 now show sectional plans in which the longitudinal cuts-1 no longer run over the entire length of the plate-shaped workpiece, rather the longitudinal cutting lines 1-are interrupted here by a so-called head cut -3--, which is entirely
EMI3.1
with the device according to FIG. 5, it can be seen that workpieces which are to be divided with a head cut according to a cutting plan according to FIG. 3 or 4 do not readily involve the device according to
5 can be run through without extensive additional manipulations being carried out, which have to go so far here that parts of the plate-shaped workpiece, namely the head part K-first have to be removed from the workflow and only when the main part --H- - The workpiece is worked up, can be reintroduced into the workflow. Since these workpieces are very bulky and large and also very heavy, such additional and cumbersome manipulations are extremely inappropriate and therefore disadvantageous.
In order to be able to carry out work with such cutting plans with simple effort on simple conventional devices of the type mentioned at the outset, this device has now been further developed, which is shown in a top view in FIG. 6, analogously to the illustration according to FIG. 5, with the designation of identical parts ( same reference numbers have been used with regard to their function and structure).
5 differs from the first-discussed device according to FIG. 6 in that the outlet table 24'-, which is assigned to the cross-saw --11--, is horizontal and parallel to the cutting plane --E11-- of this cross-saw - 11-- is movable. For this purpose, this outlet table --24 '- is mounted on rails --27-- and expediently equipped with a controllable drive, which is not shown here. The length of this discharge table --24 '- measured in the working direction (arrow 9) is at least as long as the length of the largest plate-shaped workpieces to be divided.
Furthermore --12-- for the rip saw-10-, u. Between the side --28--, which is adjacent to the cross saw --11--, a transport path --29-- is provided. The end face --30-- of this transport path --29-- facing away from the support table --12-- of the rip saw --10-- is flush or at least adjacent to that line --31-- along which the cross saw - 11-- facing end face --32-- of spout table --24 '- moves when it is moved along rails --27-- and spout table --24' - with its end face --32- - is turned on the transport track --29--. This position of the outlet table --24 '- is shown in Fig. 6 with dashed lines.
The support level of the support table --24 '- is designed so that the workpieces on it
EMI3.2
tion or this support level is designed as an air cushion table.
As far as the support level of the transport path --29-- is concerned, it is formed by driven rollers, rollers, belts or chains, and these can expediently be raised and lowered, since the transport path --29-- or the elements mentioned 6, so that this support table has an area in which the workpieces carried by it are at right angles in two directions which are in relation to one another can be moved, as is known per se in transfer devices between rip saws and cross saws in systems of a corresponding type.
As a rule, this transport path --29-- is expediently formed by two conveyor belts, since only large-sized workpiece parts are moved on this transport path. Only if relatively small workpieces are transported on this route of the device
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
--29-- rolls or rollers are advisable for this transport path.
Otherwise, the structure of the device according to FIG. 6 corresponds to that according to FIG. 5.
And now to the way of working with this device: The plate-shaped workpieces are brought individually onto the support table --12-- via the roller conveyor --17--, the lifting table --16-- and the input device (not shown), these workpieces now being divided up in this way are, as this is illustrated, for example, by the sectional or division plan according to FIG. 3.
From this support table --12-- the workpieces are brought individually or stacked into packages with the insertion unit --14-- directly to the transfer device --18--, from where the workpiece or the workpiece package by means of the insertion unit-22 provided here - advance as far as the cross saw --11-- until the head cut line --3-- is congruent with the cut-
EMI4.1
6 compared to the cross saw --11--. The outlet table --24 '- is then laterally offset so that it reaches the position indicated by the dashed lines (Fig. 6) and thus directly adjoins the transport path --29--.
Now the one part of the workpiece, which is to be cut to the formats --A--, is transported according to the cutting plan according to Fig. 3, on the support table --12-- via the conveyor track 29--, from where it is gradually moved by means of the insertion unit --14-- is fed to the rip saw --10--, which now carries out the individual rip cuts in step-by-step order, so that there are finally four strips on the transfer device, from where these strips together with the push-in unit --22-- the cross-cut saw --11-- which will now carry out the cross-sections.
In the meantime, the second part of the workpiece, namely the head part-K with the blanks-C-has reached the support table --12-- via the transport path --29-- and the discharge table --24 '- is in returned to its original position shown in Fig. 6, where
EMI4.2
then follow in an analogous manner.
4 is similar to that described. It depends on how the insert unit --22-- is designed whether the three strips with the formats --A and B-together or in groups are obtained from the main part by longitudinal cuts. In this regard, reference may be made to what has been said above.
In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 6, the transfer device --18-- and the support table --19-- for the cross saw --11-- connect directly to the discharge side of the longitudinal saw --11--. It is within the scope of the invention to provide a type of buffer zone here
EMI4.3
Whatever the working conditions, make this seem appropriate.
In the above description of the method of operation, the alignment cams --13 and 21-- and the alignment ruler --20-- were not discussed in more detail. Such elements are known in this type of distribution system, as is their function.
Thanks to the proposal according to the invention, it is possible to divide both the main and the head part of the workpiece on a device that has only one rip saw and only one cross saw, without removing workpieces or parts of the workpieces from the workflow and subsequently must be reintroduced into the workflow.
