This also simplifies the machines necessary for melting down and saves gas during operation.

In addition, it should be emphasized that the union between the incandescent bulb balloons and the foot of the incandescent body is much safer and more reliable, since the glass looks particularly good on non-round feet due to the pull of the lower neck part! more secure and more even than the old method.

Another advantage of the present method in the following:
Since the inner diameter of the lamp neck a has to be slightly larger than the support frame for the filaments in order to be able to introduce it into the interior of the balloon, the old method of melting on the melting machine required that the diameter of the disc of the feet is almost as large as that of the support frame, respectively. like the inside diameter of the lamp halo, ie considerably larger than the diameter of the normal base, which in practice is given once and for all.

So you have to give the base of such metal filament lamps a correspondingly large metal attachment surrounding the lower part of the bulb, which alone makes the manufacture of the lamp more expensive. For safety reasons, this freely accessible approach must not be live and must therefore be isolated from the base in accordance with the legal regulations that apply in almost all cultural states. This makes the lamp even more expensive.

With the new method, however, it is possible to use feet with such small disks that the usual sockets can also be used for metal filament incandescent lamps without approach, which represents a substantial saving.
