Support device for formwork u. like
In the case of formwork that has to withstand greater loads, such as B. in concrete work u. Like. Support is usually necessary to prevent the formwork from bending or collapsing. For this purpose, support timber has hitherto mostly been used, which can be moved in guide sleeves and which are fixed there in the required lengths by means of bolts inserted through holes provided in the sleeve and support timber. can be. According to the present invention, the determination of the

The support device consists essentially of a sleeve a and a support beam b that can be moved in the same. The sleeve, for which a rectangular cross-section is most advantageously chosen, consists of boards of appropriate thickness. which are permanently connected to each other, preferably by flat iron c or the like. To achieve the fixing and to facilitate the subdivision that takes place after the installation of the support, it is advisable to give the sleeve a sub-floor d, which is also to be permanently secured accordingly. To protect the

Protect in e, in which the support timber is to be fastened, with a sheet metal fitting f.
In the case, the trimming piece b moves easily, which in the ordinary
Way is used for its intended purpose. The thickness and the cross-section are to be selected in such a way that the support ho) z can be pulled out of the sleeve as far as desired and fixed in the desired pull-out length. The determination is made according to the present
Invention by a driven between the support wood and the sleeve edge wedge f made of hard wood, metal or the like.
The subject of the invention is applied in the following way:
The support device is set up on the formwork and the support timber is pulled out of the sleeve until the required length is reached. Then the pulled out length of the support wood is marked on the same with a pencil line or in some other appropriate way, the device is then turned over and the support wood is fixed in the marked position by driving in the wedge. In order to prevent any misuse or any adjustment of the locking wedge, in the fixed position it is still attached to the support wood or to the sleeve with screws 9 or similar means.
The device is then set up, the supporting timber is driven in more securely with a strong hammer blow on the head, the entire device is pushed under the formwork and wedged in the usual way.
After completion of the work, the formwork, 'the removal of the sub-wedges and the removal of the support device is done in the usual way. The wedge is removed and the support timber pushed back into the sleeve.
