Beer pressure regulator with electric drive.
The invention relates to the operation of so-called electric pressure regulators, ie electrically driven pumps for pumping liquids, while maintaining a certain pressure. The invention solves the problem of the pressure of the pump and the strength of the operating current in a simple and economical manner to get, and that it uses an electrical control, as it is already known for other purposes. A relay is built into the circuit of the electric motor coupled with the beer pumps, which acts on the control resistor in such a way that when the pressure in the pump rises and the current increases as a result, the iron core of the relay switches on when the power consumption drops but turns off resistance.
In this way, it is possible to keep the sum of the regulating resistance and the resistance of the motor caused by the counter electromotive force of the armature approximately constant. the pressure of the pump.
The invention is illustrated in the drawing by means of a schematic representation. Here M means the motor, R the relay, A its armature, W the regulating resistor.
If the pressure in the pump that drives the motor M rises, the relay X pulls the armature A further in in the direction of the arrow and thereby switches on a resistor. while in the opposite case the armature lowers and an elimination of resistance takes place.
