   Beispiel :

   Example:
120 liters of yeast of any origin are cleaned by washing out 2 to 3 times and treated with 30 liters of 30% sodium hydroxide solution or the equivalent amount of a correspondingly strong potassium hydroxide solution at room temperature. The solution obtained in this way is diluted and precipitated with 20 liters of 48% iron chloride solution. The alkaline filtrate is neutralized with concentrated hydrochloric acid, respectively. acidified and precipitated with ferric chloride solution. The precipitate obtained in this way is carefully washed and then dried on a suitable surface at moderate heat, the application of a vacuum not being necessary.

If a considerably thinner alkali solution than the one mentioned is to be used, the

Claims (1)

Hefe mit wässerigen Alkalien behandelt, die so erhältliche alkalische Lösung zunächst teilweise mit wässeriger Eisenchloridlösung neutralisiert, von dem entstandenen Eisenhydroxyd abfiltriert, das Filtrat mit konzentrierter Salzsäure bis zur neutralen oder schwach sauren Reaktion versetzt EMI2.3 Treated yeast with aqueous alkalis, first partially neutralize the alkaline solution thus obtained with aqueous iron chloride solution, filter off the iron hydroxide formed, and add concentrated hydrochloric acid to the filtrate until a neutral or weakly acidic reaction is obtained EMI2.3
