Crossed space Z between the mouth of the propellant air nozzle D and the inlet opening of the sand discharge pipe S is designed like a chamber. This chamber-like interspace Z is enclosed by a wind chamber u, which communicates with the cleaning air line w and has a horseshoe-shaped cross section, the upper ends of which are connected to one another by the duct v which is passed over the propellant air nozzle D.
This arrangement of the wind chamber u makes it possible both above, to the side and behind the propellant air nozzle D into the funnel-like inlet J? to allow a larger number of cleaning nozzles U to open out of the room Z, as well as to arrange a cleaning nozzle W on the floor of the room Z in such a way that the air jet emitted by this nozzle W is directed opposite to the direction of movement of the sand masses sinking into the room Z, As a result, the clogging parts that have stuck in room Z are thrown back into the sandpit. D; e propellant air nozzle D directed transversely to the direction of cleaning nozzle W and opening into space Z is fed with compressed air through line d.
The line d is also connected through the cavity t with the loosening nozzle T which opens into the sand space, through whose action the sand masses sinking towards the space Z are constantly loosened during the sand blowing. The screw a is used to remove any sand that has penetrated the chamber u.
The operation of the device represented by FIGS. 4, 5 and 6 is exactly the same as in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2. If blockages occur, the propellant air line is shut off and the cleaning air line is opened. By then from the nozzles t! and U emitted air jets both the sand mass in space Z and the mass of sand above this space upwards, i.e. i. towards the inside of the box, thrown back and
