Ejector for air suction brakes.
The subject of the present invention relates to ejectors for air suction brakes and consists in a device by which the effect is increased compared to the previously known devices with the same steam consumption. The invention consists in this. that the steam nozzle is designed to enlarge the steam surface in such a way that sn- generates a series of steam jets which in their entirety form a tube.
In the drawing, FIG. 1 shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in section, FIG. 2 shows an end view of the steam nozzle according to the invention, and FIG. 3 shows an end view similar to FIG. 2 of a modified embodiment.

b the large ejector, d the small or auxiliary ejector, the steam supply of which is controlled by the handle t '. When the ejector b is in operation, it creates a flow of air from the duct g to both its center k and its periphery w. the peripheral air inlet m communicates with a space M at the rear of the ejector b.
The auxiliary ejector d, which serves to render the leaks in the brake harmless, also generates an air flow both to its center s and to its periphery t, which inlets communicate with one another. The effect is considerably increased if precautions are taken in the central inlets k and s, for example small steam nozzles v and w are provided, in order to prevent the collapse of the tubular steam jet as a result of the entry of air. The exit from the small ejector d takes place in a channel x which surrounds the blow-out channel y of the large ejector b.
The steam nozzles of the large and small ejectors bund d are more common in the.

so that the steam is tubular, but is divided into several separate jets. exit.
The use of several jets causes the steam to suck the air much more forcefully. The ejector according to the present invention is more effective than the previously known ejectors with the same steam consumption.
