Conveyor pre-lightening for powdery material.
The subject of the invention is a conveyor device for powdery material with a compressed gas line through the shaft of the conveyor screw, in which compressed gas is also supplied through a nozzle ring arranged in the screw housing.
The invention consists in that the holes of the nozzle ring are arranged in relation to the nozzle holes of the screw shaft in such a way that the jets emerging from the nozzle holes intersect one another.
This mutual position of the outlet opening in the shaft and nozzle has the advantage that the particles thrown by the ring nozzle against the shaft are deflected by the jets coming from the nozzle shaft, so that the wear and tear on the shaft is reduced accordingly, and that the nozzle openings are inclined accordingly a favorable outflow component for the flow of air and material to be conveyed can be achieved in the shaft and ring nozzle.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. Fig. 1 shows the entire conveying device in section along the axis, Fig. 2 shows the nozzle end of the conveying device in the same section, but on a larger scale.
In the housing a of the conveyor device, a shaft b is arranged on which the screw c sits.
The material is poured in through a body d and grasped by the screw c. The shaft b of the worm is guided at the front and rear in sealed bearings e and f in the housing a. The delivery line g is connected to a shoulder h of the housing.
The worm shaft b is drilled in the middle. The bore i is connected to a compressed gas line at the rear, while a number of nozzle holes k are arranged at the front, which in the present case have a forward and outward inclination to the axis of the shaft b. Approximately in the plane of the nozzle holes k, an annular nozzle 1 of a known type is inserted into the housing a, the nozzle holes m of which, like the nozzle holes k of the shaft b, are inclined to the axis. As the arrows indicate, the jets emerging from the nozzle shaft and the ring nozzle intersect, so that the particles captured by the jets from the ring nozzle are intercepted by the jets from the nozzle shaft before they can strike the shaft.
The inclination of the nozzle holes in the shaft and ring nozzle also results in a component that falls approximately in the axis of the extension h to the delivery line g.
