  Verfahren zur Darstellung blauer Schwefelfarbstoffe. Es hat sich gezeigt, dass Arylsulfoderivate des   Aminooxydiphpnyhnoins der folgenden   allgemeinen Formel :

Behandelt man die genannten Verbindungen mit Natriumpolysulfid, so entstehen zunächst geschwefelte Produkte, welche Baumwolle im schwefelnatriumhaltigen Bade in blauen Tönen   anfärben,   jedoch nicht   säureecht   sind. Die so erhaltenen Produkte sind in Wasser leicht löslich und enthalten noch den Arylsulforest, eine Tatsache, welche höchst auffallend ist und keineswegs vorauszusehen war.

   Werden nun die so erhaltenen Produkte mit   konzentrierter Schwefelsäure     behandelt,   so wird die Arylsulfogruppe abgespalten und es entstehen Farbstoffe. welche Baumwolle in   schonen   blauen, nicht mehr   säureempt1ndlichen   Tönen anfärben. Auch die   Tatsache, dass die bei der Schwefelung zuerst entstehenden, den Arylsulforest noch enthaltenden   Produkte sich in glatter Weise und   ohne dass Ncbenreaktioneu auftreten oder Farbstoff-
