The invention relates to a machine for unwinding, cutting and rewinding webs of material, in particular floor coverings, with conveyor rollers for the webs of material.
In known machines of this type, the rewinding of cut pieces of the material web presents considerable difficulties. If up to now the rewinding was not carried out by hand at all, the cut web pieces were wound up by machine on a core. In both cases, at least two operators are required for rewinding, at least for webs with a width of more than 2 m, as it is difficult to wind up wide webs evenly by hand or to wind them on the core without tilting and without warping with machine winding. The same difficulties arise when winding web pieces without a core with the help of two adjacent rolls.
Here, too, the beginning of the piece of web to be wound must be rolled up manually by the operators, and during the further rewinding, the operators must ensure that it is rolled up evenly without tilting or warping.
In general, it is only possible with the known devices to wind up relatively thin rolls. So not all and any sizes and lengths of web pieces can be rolled up again. A possible wrapping of rolls, e.g. B. in the inventory, is not possible with the known devices or only with difficulty.
The object of the invention is to create a machine for unwinding, cutting and rewinding webs of material, with which also, and in particular, wide and long and thus correspondingly heavy web pieces, without the intervention of an operator, safely and at the correct angle, i.e. without warping or tilting (also known as "hatching"). called) can be rolled up.
This is achieved according to the invention in that for rewinding the web pieces behind the conveyor rollers, a known winding device is arranged with winding rollers that act on the circumference of the roller to be wound and that can be driven in the same direction, of which one group has its ends in a pair of support legs and another group with its ends are mounted in a further pair of support legs which are arranged at an angle thereto and adjoin the first pair of support legs, and in that the drive of the winding rollers is coupled to the drive of the feeder rollers.
This ensures that the piece of web driven by the conveyor rollers automatically rolls up in the angled winding path and is guided through the winding rollers when it is rolled up, so that a properly wound winding roller results without the intervention of an operator. Pieces of track of any length and thickness can be rolled up.
In a further development of the invention, the pairs of support legs can be pivoted relative to one another, the angle enclosed by the support legs being smaller during the winding up of a track piece than during the release of the wound track piece, and when the track is released, the support legs of the further pair of support legs are approximately horizontal and the winding rollers are in the sense the ejection of the wound web piece drivable.
The winding is done in the manner described above in the angled winding path. while to release the take-up roll a pair of support legs of the take-up device can be pivoted or assume such a position that the take-up roll is automatically guided out of the machine by driving the take-up rolls in the appropriate direction of rotation.
With the device according to the invention it is possible, depending on the position of the pairs of supporting legs of the winding device to one another, either to wind up the piece of web again in the same direction in which it was wound earlier, or to wind the piece of web in the opposite direction as before.
It has been shown in practice that particularly good winding is possible if one of the pairs of supporting legs of the winding device, in particular the further pair of supporting legs, is arranged essentially vertically in the winding position.
Exemplary embodiments of the machine according to the invention are described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a schematic side view of an embodiment and FIG. 2 shows an even more simplified side view of a second embodiment of the machine.
In Fig. 1 and 2 a roll of goods - a - can be seen, of which the web to be cut-a; - in
EMI1.1
is arranged so that the web of material - a; - is inevitably introduced between the rollers of this roller pair. In the conveying direction of the web of material - a1 - a second pair of rollers - e - is then arranged behind the first pair of rollers - c -, between the rollers of which the material web is passed. Between the two pairs of rollers - c and e - the material web - a; - is guided over a horizontal table - d - which should be large enough that the surface of the material web, in particular the decoration of the goods, is clearly visible and can thus be subjected to an examination.
In the conveying direction behind the roller pair - e - a leg - S2 of a winding path is arranged on each side of the machine. In these legs --S2 - are the ends of the axes of rollers
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
--f-- stored, which are arranged parallel to each other, so that a first roller conveyor results. At the free ends of the legs --S2 - a further leg --sl-- is pivotably articulated. These legs - S1 - also serve to support the axle ends of further rollers - f--, which are also arranged parallel to one another and parallel to the rollers of the first roller conveyor.
These legs --SI -
EMI2.1
pivotable, so that they form an acute angle, as can be seen from FIG. 1, or an angle of about 900, as can be seen from FIG. 2, between them, which is open at the top. If the legs - sl - are pivoted so far that the roller tracks form an angle of approximately 1800 with one another, as shown in broken lines in FIG. 2, the two roller tracks form a uniform roller track without transition. The individual rollers-f-each roller conveyor can be driven both clockwise and counterclockwise. The peripheral speed of the individual rollers - f - can be equal to or greater than the peripheral speed of the rollers of the second roller pair - e -.
The drive of the rollers of the two roller conveyors is expediently coupled to the drive of the roller pairs - c and e.
Between the first and the second pair of rollers - c and e - a motor-driven cross cutting device - i - with a rotating knife - k - is arranged above the table - d -.
The knife-k - engages in a groove - g - made in the table - d -. In addition, a longitudinal cutting device - p- can also be provided.
In the conveying direction of the web between the first pair of rollers - c - and the knives - k and p - there is a measuring device - l, It - for measuring the length of the web section to be separated.
As soon as an unwound web of material - al - is gripped by the first pair of rollers - c -, it runs automatically through the measuring device - 1, 1t - over the table - d - into the second pair of rollers --e - inside.
The winding of the goods emerging from the second pair of rollers - e - then takes place completely automatically in that the rollers - f - are all set in motion in one and the same direction. Depending on whether the top or the bottom of the web is to be rolled up, the position of the legs --SI and the direction of rotation of the rollers - f - must be selected. Should z. If, for example, the underside of the material web is rolled up, a position of the legs as in Fig. 1 is recommended, in which the legs --S2 - protrude downwards at right angles to the table surface - d - and the legs-- sl - form an acute angle that opens upwards.
The drive of the rollers - f - then takes place in the direction of view according to FIG. 1 in a counterclockwise direction.
If, on the other hand, the upper side of the material web is to be rolled up, a position of the two roller conveyors according to FIG. 2 is recommended in which the legs - s1 and s2 - practically form a right angle with one another. The rollers - f - are then driven clockwise.
With the machine according to FIGS. 1 and 2, all desired types of winding can be carried out, regardless of which side the roll of goods - a - was previously wound or which side of the
EMI2.2
automatically, and sections of any size and rolls of goods of any thickness can be wound without the need for a special operator.
As soon as the desired length of the material web has passed the measuring device --1,11--, the drive of the two roller pairs - c and e - is stopped and the web piece - a - is cut off by the knife --k-- . Then the cut and wound web section --a2 - can be removed from the device in that, according to Fig. 1, the rollers - f - of the second roller conveyor --SI-- are now driven in the opposite direction, whereby the web section to the right is promoted.
According to FIG. 2, however, the wound-up section --a2 - can also be removed in that the second roller conveyor - si-, as shown in FIG. 2 in dashed lines, is pivoted so that the first and the second roller conveyor together form an inclined plane over which the track section rolls.
