The invention relates to a towed or self-propelled agricultural loading wagon with several brackets delimiting the upper part of the loading space, which can be swiveled backwards about a horizontal axis lying transversely to the direction of travel, the side cheeks of the brackets being separated by several at vertical intervals with the formation of spaces and slats arranged one above the other in a vertical plane are articulated together.
The swiveling movement of the superstructure enables the loading wagon to be driven into rooms with little height.
According to the invention, U-shaped curved pockets are arranged at the front ends of the slats, the open side of which is directed backwards and which encompass the side cheeks of the front bracket with play.
The aim of this measure is to enable relative movements between the slats and the front bracket during the pivoting process.
It is particularly advantageous if the entire pivotable slat structure is held in a working position by an automatically acting lock, the lock consisting of a rod which is pivotably arranged on the stationary side wall of the loading wagon and has stops immediately behind and in front of the approximately vertical one The side cheek of the front bracket engages. This prevents the bracket and the entire structure from pivoting.
According to a further feature of the invention, the rear stop has an inclined contact surface on which the side cheek of the front bracket slides when it is raised. Advantageously, the rod is movably guided in an eyelet of the lower slat of the pivotable structure and has little lateral mobility due to the spring action of the slat. This lateral mobility is sufficient to push the stop outwards when the bracket is raised until it automatically engages behind the bracket in the end position of the bracket and locks the structure.
Further features of the invention can be found in the following description and the drawings showing an exemplary embodiment. 1 shows a side view of a loading wagon with the structure folded up, FIG. 2 is a side view of the loading wagon according to FIG. 1 with the structure folded down, FIG. 3 is a side view of part of another embodiment of the structure, FIG. 4 is a front view of part of the structure According to FIG. 3, FIG. 5 shows a section along the line VV of FIG. 1, and FIG. 6 shows a section along the line Vi-VI of FIG.
The schematic drawings show a self-propelled loading wagon with fixed side walls - l -. Below the upper edge of the side walls-l-are several brackets - 2 -, which enlarge the cargo space upwards, rotatable. The brackets --2 - can be pivoted about horizontal axes-3, which are perpendicular to the direction of travel of the loading wagon, from a vertical position to an approximately horizontal position.
The brackets - 2 - are articulated to one another by several slats - 4 - which are attached to the side walls of the brackets - 2 - so that they can rotate one above the other at vertical intervals. The front end of the slats - 4 - has a U-shaped curved pocket - 5 - (Fig. 5), the open side of which is directed backwards and the side cheeks of the front bracket --6--, with play encompasses. The bracket --6 - is designed as a front wall and also around a horizontal axis that is perpendicular to the direction of travel - 7-
EMI1.1
--6-- with - 7-- in relation to the axes - 3 - of the remaining brackets --2-- are arranged somewhat lower.
To reduce the height of the loading wagon, which is required when loading green forage, the bracket - is swiveled backwards. This folds down the entire structure. The vertical distance between the slats - 4 - decreases steadily during the pivoting process. In the lowest position, the slats --4-- lie on edge on top of one another (Fig. 2).
For loading dry goods, the front bracket --6-- is swiveled upwards to enlarge the loading space. The bracket-6- rests on the closed side of the pockets --5-- attached to the slats --4-- and thus pulls the entire structure upwards into an approximately vertical position.
The upper limit of the swiveling structure-2, 4, 6 - is formed by ropes - 8 - which are attached to the brackets - 2, 6 - and on the rear of the loading wagon. In order to enlarge the cargo space to the rear, the front bracket - 6 - is arranged lower than the other brackets - 2. It is also kept slightly shorter than the brackets --2-- so that the ropes --8-- are still taut even when the structure - 2, 4, 6 - is folded down.
To lock the structure in its vertical position, a rod - 9 - is pivotably mounted on the stationary side wall - 1 - of the loading wagon. The front end of the rod --9-- has a stop - 10-- (Fig. 6) which engages behind the bracket --6-- and prevents it from pivoting backwards. To the front, the pivoting movement of the bracket-6-is limited by another stop-11 of the rod -9-. The rod --9 - is movably guided in an eyelet-12- (Fig. 1) of the lowest slat-4 of the pivoting structure.
To unlock, the bar --9 - is moved laterally outwards using a handle, until the stop-10-the bracket-6-to pivot
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
releases behind. The lateral mobility of the rod - 9 - required for this is achieved, on the one hand, by large play in the pivot joint of the rod - 9 - and, on the other hand, by the spring action of the slat --4 -. The

Means reducing the overall height of the loading wagon.
In a further embodiment according to the invention, a closed tarpaulin is provided instead of the ropes - 8 - to delimit the cargo space at the top.
