   Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zum Längsrecken von Folien aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff, mit einer Anzahl von antreibbaren Walzen, die mehrere Teilreckzonen bilden, wobei sich die Umfangsgeschwindigkeit der Walzen in Bewegungsrichtung der Folie von Teilreckzone zu Teilreckzone vergrössert. 



   Bei einer bekannten Vorrichtung der vorstehend genannten Art befindet sich zwischen zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Teilreckzonen jeweils eine einzige Walze, die gehoben bzw. gesenkt werden kann. Auf diese Weise lässt sich zwar die Länge der einzelnen Teilreckzonen ändern. Die bekannte Vorrichtung ist jedoch mit dem Nachteil behaftet, dass der Walzen-Umschlingungswinkel zwischen zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Teilreckzonen verhältnismässig klein ist. Es besteht infolgedessen die Gefahr, dass sich zwischen der Folie und der Walze ein

   Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, unter Vermeidung dieses Mangels eine Vorrichtung zum Längsrecken so auszubilden, dass die Folie einerseits im Bereich zwischen aufeinanderfolgenden Teilreckzonen schlupffrei mitgenommen wird, dass anderseits jedoch eine einfache Änderung der Teilreckzonenlänge möglich ist. 



   Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäss dadurch gelöst, dass die Teilreckzonen zwischen jeweils zwei aufeinanderfolgenden, von der Folie S-förmig umschlingbaren Walzenpaaren gebildet sind, wobei die beiden Walzen jedes Walzenpaares mit gleicher Umfangsgeschwindigkeit antreibbar sind und eine Walze zwecks Änderung der Teilreckzonenlänge um die Achse der andern Walze schwenkbar ist. 



   Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in den Zeichnungen veranschaulicht. Es   zeigen : Fig. l   eine erfindungsgemässe Vorrichtung in einer ersten Walzenstellung ; Fig. 2 die Vorrichtung gemäss Fig. 1 in einer andern Walzenstellung.

B.--5- läuft in S-förmiger Umschlingung über die einzelnen Walzenpaare und wird im Bereich der Teilreckzonen (z. B.--8, 9, 10--) gereckt. 



   Die beiden Walzen jedes Walzenpaares werden mit gleicher Umfangsgeschwindigkeit in entgegengesetztem Drehsinn von einem gemeinsamen   Antriebsorgan --11-- angetrieben.   Die Umfangsgeschwindigkeit vergrössert sich dabei in Bewegungsrichtung der Folie--7--von Walzenpaar zu Walzenpaar, so dass in den einzelnen Teilreckzonen-8, 9,   10- usw.   jeweils eine bestimmte Zugkraft auf die   Folie --7-- wirkt.   Alle Walzen sind ferner regelbar beheizt und halten die Folie--7--auf der für den Reckvorgang erforderlichen Temperatur. 



   Um die   Länge-d-der   einzelnen Teilreckzonen ändern zu können, ist die zweite Walze (z. B.-6--) jedes Walzenpaares   (z. B.-l-)   mittels einer   Halterung --12-- um   die Achse (z. B.-13--) der andern Walze   (z.   B.--5--) schwenkbar. Diese Achse ist zugleich die Achse des gemeinsamen Antriebsorganes Durch eine Schwenkbewegung der   Halterung--12--und   der hievon getragenen   Walze--6--lässt   sich die   Länge-d-der   folgenden   Teilreckzone-8-zwischen   einem Maximalwert und dem Wert Null verändern (vgl. die Stellungen der Fig. l und 2).

   Zweckmässig werden dabei die   Halterungen--12--aller   Walzenpaare starr miteinander verbunden, so dass die Verstellung der Länge aller Teilreckzonen mittels eines einzigen Verstellorganes erfolgen kann. 



   Die erfindungsgemässe Vorrichtung ist grundsätzlich zum Längsrecken aller Folien aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff geeignet. Besondere Bedeutung besitzt die Erfindung für das bisher verhältnismässig schwierige Längsrecken von Polyäthylentherephthalat und sämtlichen Copolymeren.

   In a known device of the type mentioned above, there is a single roller between two successive partial stretching zones, which can be raised or lowered.    The invention is therefore based on the object of avoiding this deficiency in designing a device for longitudinal stretching in such a way that, on the one hand, the film is carried along without slipping in the area between successive partial stretching zones, but on the other hand, a simple change in the partial stretching zone length is possible.



   This object is achieved according to the invention in that the partial stretching zones are formed between two successive pairs of rollers that can be wrapped in an S-shape by the film, the two rollers of each roller pair being drivable at the same peripheral speed and one roller around the axis of the other roller to change the partial stretching zone length is pivotable.

   In order to be able to change the length-d-of the individual stretching zones, the second roller (e.g. -6--) of each pair of rollers (e.g. -l-) is around the axis (12--) by means of a bracket ( e.g. -13--) of the other roller (e.g. -5--) can be pivoted. This axis is at the same time the axis of the common drive member.    The device according to the invention is basically suitable for longitudinally stretching all films made of thermoplastic material. The invention is of particular importance for the relatively difficult longitudinal stretching of polyethylene terephthalate and all copolymers.
