Radiant heat takes place.
When carrying out the inventive idea, a number of tubes --11-- directed radially against the longitudinal axis of the burner pot are used, the length and direction of which are chosen so that oxidation of the gas in the middle is ensured by introducing heated air.
In the embodiment shown, a conical ring is provided in the burner on the top of the burner pot, which ring encloses the burner opening and to which the conically widening head-8-with its openings-7-arranged in a row is connected.
The converging tubes - 11 - are below this row of openings
In addition to the peripheral distribution of the secondary air, such an arrangement has the advantage of counteracting excessive expansion of the flame in the longitudinal direction and enabling better utilization of the combustion space, avoiding contact between cold surfaces and incompletely burned gases. At the same time, however, an optimal function is obtained both with minimum and maximum operation of the burner.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Burner for liquid fuel, consisting of a burner pot, which has feed openings for the primary air supply in its jacket and forms a gasification chamber, the upper end of the burner pot limited by a conical ring expanding conically and with obliquely upwardly directed feed openings for the Secondary air supply
EMI3.1
Secondary air supply are at least partially designed as tubular extensions (11) which are radially extended to the top axis.
