   Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet ein Verfahren zur Brikettierung von Steinkohlen, Holzkohlen, Torf, Lignit und anderen Brennstoffen. Das Wesen der Erfindung besteht darin, dass als Bindemittel eine aus   Suiitzelluloseablaugo   und Aldehyden gemäss der österr. Patentschrift   Nr.   2304 ( ; hergestellte Masse verwendet wird.   Bekanntlich   hat der durch Eindampfen von Sulfitzelluloseablauge entstehende Sirup an sich nicht viel Bindekraft und hat man versucht, diese durch Oxydation u. dgl. zu erhöhen.

   Eine noch bessere Wirkung ergibt sich jedoch, wenn man für die Brikettierung eine   Sultitzellulose-   ablauge, u. zw. zweckmässig eingedickte anwendet, welcher ein Zusatz von einigen Prozenten
