   Es wurde ein Bleichmittel gefunden, welches aus festem, wasserfreiem Natriumhydrosulfit und Zinkstaub besteht. Dieses Produkt bietet dem   Natriumbydrosultit   gegenüber auf verschiedenen Anwendungsgebieten Vorteile ; insbesondere sind die damit hergestellten Lösungen haltbarer als   Natriumbydrosulfitlösungen   und zufolge des   Zinkgehaltes wirksamer   als diese. 



   Eine Haltbarmachung des festen Ilydrosulfits. welches hier wasserfrei und schon an sich beständig ist. wird mit der vorliegenden   Mischung   nicht bezweckt, im Gegensatz zu   dem   Verfahren des D. R. P. Nr.   144 ; 281, bei welchem Zinkstaub mit einem mit Alkohol     gefällten, also wasserhaltigen Hydrosulfit vermischt wurde, welches bekanntlich wenig haltbar   ist und selbst im geschlossenen   Gefäss   Zersetzung erleidet ; hiebei wurde der Zinkstaub zur   Erziciung   der Haltbarkeit des Präparates   aufgebracht, ehe dieses zur. \nwendung   gelangte. 



   Das vorliegende Mittel ist besonders geeignet zum Bleichen von Stroh, Leder. Leim und von Federn, wegen der langen Dauer des für diese Artikel erforderlichen Bleichprozesses.
