Abdichtung an den Ein- oder Austrittsstellen eines
Hochdruckdämpfers od. dgl.
EMI1.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

Sealing at the entry or exit points of a
High pressure damper or the like.
EMI1.1
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Exit point schematic representation, FIG. 5 the front view, partly broken, of the embodiment of FIG. 4, FIG. 6 a further embodiment.
Above a known high-pressure damper 1, which can be designed in any way and in front of whose inlet or outlet a pair of guide rollers 2 is arranged, is a housing 3 in which the entire, preferably exchangeable, pressure sealing device is arranged.
The pressure sealing device consists initially of two sealing rollers 4 and 5, of which the sealing roller 5 is fixedly but rotatably mounted in the housing 3. Ball bearings are used for storage in a manner known per se. The sealing roller 4, on the other hand, rests in bearing arms 6 and forms the pressure roller, since it is constantly pressed in the direction of the arrow A in the direction of the roller 5. The bearing arms 6 carry the roller bearings 7 and are themselves arranged to be pivotable about a fixed point 8, while at their upper end they are articulated to a piston rod 9, which in turn are constantly pressed in the direction of arrow A by a pressure piston 10 working in cylinders 11. Both cylinders 11 work absolutely uniformly and constantly press the bearing arms 6 and thus the roller 4 in the direction of the fixed roller 5.
The web 12 is either introduced from above or run from below and passes through the pinch joint formed by the sealing rollers 4 and 5 and at the same time runs through the nozzle-like damper attachment 13, which is provided with a passage slot 13. To the right and left of the rollers 4 and 5 are shields 14 which in turn are constantly pressed in the direction of the end faces of the sealing rollers 4 and 5 by a hydraulically or pneumatically controlled piston 15 which is displaceable in a cylinder 16. As a result, the seal is achieved in both lateral directions, a seal 17 being arranged between the damper attachment 13 and the shield 14.
The contact pressure of the shields 14, which act as pressure plates, is controlled from the high-pressure steam tank; likewise the contact pressure of the sealing roller 4 on the sealing roller 5, that is to say the pressure in the cylinders 11, is controlled from the pressure vessel.
The damper attachment 13 can be constructed in any way, as the various exemplary embodiments show:
In Fig. 1, a nozzle-like acting damper attachment 13 is shown, which is provided with elastic sealing lips 18, which are above supports 19, with a ring-like closed pressure hose 20 is preferably arranged between the supports 19, so that when the pressure is increased or decreased in the Hose 20 the sealing lips 18 are pressed more or less in the direction of the rollers 4 and 5. The sealing lips 18 are preferably made of a softer material than the roll covers. The sealing lips 18 are located in such a way that they are pressed against one another in the lower circular sectors of the rotatable sealing rollers 4 and 5 that face one another.
Of course, the pressure body 20 can also be arranged elsewhere on the damper attachment, as it is, for. B. is shown in FIG. The supports 19 are saved.
Fig. 3 shows a further embodiment, in which, however, instead of the sealing lips 18 steel rollers or steel pipes 21 with a relatively small diameter are provided, which each rest rotatably or non-rotatably in a bearing 22 and, like the sealing lips 18, under the pressure of a hydraulic or pneumatic pressure hose 20 stand. These steel rollers or tubes 21 can also be laterally sealed by shields 14, which, however, at the level of the steel rollers 21, have seals that encompass cap-like seals that are embedded in the shields.
4 shows another exemplary embodiment in which the entire damper attachment 13 is preferably made of steel and is brought up to the rollers 4 and 5. As can be seen from FIG. 5, the pressure plate 23 is constantly pressed in the direction of the pair of rollers 4 and 5 by a piston 24 via a piston rod 25 and a double-armed lever 26. The entire damper attachment 13 can be pivoted in the arrow directions B, since it rests on both sides on the double-armed lever 26 in a ball socket 27. Under the pressure of the double-armed lever 26, the damper attachment 13 is pressed against the rollers 4 and 5 and can pivot about the axles 32 arranged on both sides, which are each mounted in a link guide. The pivotability is extremely important because the rollers 4 and 5 work off in the course of time.
According to the exemplary embodiment in FIG. 4, the damper attachment 13 is furthermore provided with a steel bellows 28 that is closed on all sides, so that an up and down movement is possible without pressure medium escaping.
Of course, there is also the possibility of storing the damper attachment 13 in vertical guides and at the same time making them tight.
In the invention, the heating zone for the rollers 4 and 5 is relatively small; nevertheless is to
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
Safety below the rollers each have a cooling roller 29 and a doctor blade 30, which removes any unevenness or imperfections from the roller shells and keeps them in perfect condition at all times.
As can be seen from the exemplary embodiments, the invention can be concretized in various ways; all the features of the individual exemplary embodiments can also be interchanged with one another.
