Description

    Schlauohblnde.

    Smart people.

The present hose binding serves for the quick and tight closing of leaks in syringes and similar hoses and has the advantage over others that a strong pressure is initially applied directly to the sealing point itself and then from this, progressing concentrically, to its immediate surroundings can be exercised.

The hose bandage consists of the yoke a, which carries the nut thread for a pressure screw 9 and comes to rest over the leaking point of the hose by means of the bandage b to be placed around the hose / and to be hung at c.

In the closed state (FIG. 1), the screw 9, which is connected at its end to a pressure body d with a convex surface by means of a screwed-in neck, faces the leak, with a sealing washer e made of rubber being inserted between the pressure body and the hose. When pre-screwing, the screw first presses the pressure body d with its apex against the leak, whereupon when screwing further (Fig. 2) the remaining surface of the body is pressed from the sealing point, progressing concentrically, onto its immediate surroundings.

By retightening the screw you have it in your hand to expand this simultaneously increasing and propagating pressure as you like, as the pressure body pushes itself more and more into the hose.
