Presse für Stroh od. dgl., insbesondere für Mähdrescher DieErfindung betriffteine Presse fürStroh od. dgl., insbesondere für Mähdrescher, bei der ein Schwing- kolben das von einem Zubringer in den Presskanal geschobene Stroh od. dgl., zu Ballen presst, und zielt darauf ab, eine Presse zu schaffen, die dichtere Ballen presst als die bekannten Pressen, bei welchen der Presskanal nach der unteren Totlage des Kolbens in der Richtung dessen Enddruckes gerade verläuft.
Sie besteht im Wesen darin, dass der Presskanal im Anschluss an die untere Totlage des Schwingkolbens geknickt ist und nach abwärts verläuft.
Durch die erfindungsgemässe Ausbildung des Presskanals stützt sich der sich bildende Ballen während der Pressung gegen die Kanaldecke ab. Dadurch steigt der Druckverlauf zur an der Kanaldecke anliegenden Ballenoberseite hin an und es werden dichtere Pressballen erhalten, die in vorteilhafter Weise eine bessere Lagerraumausnützung ermöglichen.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes schematisch dargestellt.
Der Schwingkolben 1 der Strohpresse, der das vom Zubringer 2 in den Kanal 3 geschobene Stroh zu Ballen presst, ist in seiner oberen Totlage mit vollen Linien gezeichnet und in seiner unteren Totlage 2' strichliert angedeutet. Der Presskanal ist geknickt, u. zw. ist der dem Zubringer zugewendete Teil 4 in bekannter Weise der Bewegungsbahn des Schwingkolbens angepasst und der nachfolgende Teil 5 des Kanals im Anschluss an die untere Totlage des Kolbens nach abwärts gerichtet. Durch die Abknickung des Presskanals wird der Pressdruck auf die Ballenoberseite wesentlich erhöht.

The formation of the press channel according to the invention means that the bale that forms is supported against the channel cover during the pressing process. As a result, the pressure profile increases towards the top of the bale resting against the canal ceiling and denser pressed bales are obtained, which advantageously enable better utilization of the storage space.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing.
The oscillating piston 1 of the straw press, which presses the straw pushed into the channel 3 by the feeder 2 into bales, is drawn with full lines in its upper dead position and indicated by dashed lines in its lower dead position 2 '.
