Es sind bereits Pressen für Obst u. dgl. bekannt, bei welchen zwischen Pressstempel und einer dessen Hub-und Senkbewegung bewirkenden Mutter eine den Pressdruck speichernde Feder ange- ordnet ist.
Gemäss der Erfindung ruht der das Pressgut aufnehmende Behälter auf einer elastischen Unterlage auf, wodurch ein wesentlich einfacherer Aufbau der Presse ermöglicht wird.
In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in beispielsweiser Ausführungsform in Fig. 1 in Ansicht mit teilweisem Schnitt, in Fig. 2 im Schnitt nach der Linie 11-11 der Fig. 1 dargestellt.
1 ist die auf Füssen 2 ruhende Grundplatte der Maschine, auf der mittels Stehbolzen 3 das zur Führung der Schraubenspindel 4 dienende Joch 5 aufgebaut ist. Am Ende der Schraubenspindel befindet sich die Pressplatte 6, welche in den das Pressgut aufnehmenden Behälter 7 eindringt. Dieser besteht aus einem siebartig gelochten Zylinder, der auf den Umfang eines hochgezogenen Bodenteiles der Auffangschale 8 streng passend aufgesetzt ist. Die Schale sitzt mit dem erhöhten Bodenteil auf dem Boden 9 eines Kolbens auf, der mit seinem Mantel 10 in einer Pfanne 11 der Grundplatte 1 geführt ist. Eine starke Schraubenfeder 12, welche lose in die Pfanne eingesetzt ist, bildet ein elastisches Auflager für den Kolben.
Die Anordnung ist so getroffen, dass der Kolbenmantel bei entspannter Feder gerade in die Pfanne hineinragt und bei der grössten in Betracht kommenden Federspannung den Boden der Pfanne berührt, wodurch der Hub des Kolbens begrenzt ist.
Zu Beginn des Pressvorganges wird die Spindel 4 so lange gedreht, bis der Kolbenmantel auf dem Boden der Pfanne aufsitzt. Hiebei wird einerseits der erforderliche Druck auf das Pressgut erzielt und anderseits in der Feder 12 eine Kraft aufgespeichert, die beim Nachlassen des Druckes innerhalb des Pressgutes (infolge der Förderung desselben) im gleichen Masse abgegeben wird, so dass der Pressdruck bei der Wahl einer genügend starken Feder praktisch gleich hoch bleibt. Es entfällt somit jede Überwachung des Pressvorganges und jedes Nachstellen der Spindel.

A strong helical spring 12, which is loosely inserted into the socket, forms an elastic support for the piston.
The arrangement is such that the piston skirt protrudes straight into the socket when the spring is relaxed and touches the base of the socket when the spring tension is greatest, whereby the stroke of the piston is limited.
At the beginning of the pressing process, the spindle 4 is rotated until the piston skirt rests on the bottom of the pan. On the one hand, the required pressure on the pressed material is achieved and, on the other hand, a force is stored in the spring 12, which is released to the same extent when the pressure within the pressed material is released (as a result of the promotion of the same), so that the pressing pressure when a sufficiently strong one is selected The spring remains practically the same height. There is therefore no need to monitor the pressing process or readjust the spindle.
