    Ringmeehanik.

    Ring mechanics.

The present invention relates to a ring mechanism. According to the invention, a pressure rail is provided which rests with a longitudinal bead on the connection point of the two ring parts, with
Pressing the mechanism against its base causes the rings to open.

The pressure rail A, which consists of a slightly resilient metal strip, has lateral guide tabs C, C 'and a longitudinal bead B produced by pressing or the like, by means of which the pressure rail which fits exactly into the housing D of the ring mechanism is brought about by the tongue and groove
Connection E of the two ring wire parts F, F 'press.

The mechanism is connected to the base (spine of the book) at points G, G 'by double-headed hollow rivets or the like in such a way that there is a possibility of movement of 0'3-0'4 mm on the rivet shafts that serve as guide pins, whereby the mechanism at closed rings can lift off the base and the pressure bar A comes out of contact with the ring parts, since the otherwise existing bar pressure would cause a partial opening of the rings in the opposite case.

If the mechanism is pressed against the base by placing the fingers between each of the two pairs of rings, the bead B of the pressure rail A comes into effect, the connection point E of the wires F, F 'stored in the housing pushes upwards and thereby causes the rings to open . The shot takes place by lateral finger pressure on both ring parts.

   PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Ring mechanism, characterized in that a pressure bar (A) is provided for opening the rings, which, with its longitudinal bead (B) resting against the connection point (E) of the two ring parts (F, Pi), presses them against the mechanism brings your pad to open.
