   Der technische Fortschritt des   erfindungsgemässen   Bettbezuges besteht darin, dass er einerseits das Gesicht einer Steppdecke hat, anderseits aber waschbar und hygienisch den Körper umhüllt. Die nichtfüllbare Abteilung 4 ist so dünn, dass sie den Schlafenden nicht stört, auch wenn sie auf der gefüllten Abteilung 5 aufliegt (vgl. Fig. 4). 



   Bisher verwendete man lose Laken, die man über Wolldecken bzw. Steppdecken schlägt, und deckt sich mit beiden Teilen zu. Besonders bei Hotelbetten hat diese Ausführung den Nachteil, dass sie im höchsten Grade unhygienisch ist, weil der Schäfer das lose Laken herunterstrampelt und mit der Wollbzw. Steppdecke in Berührung kommt. Woll- bzw. Steppdecken können mitunter Monate oder Jahre hindurch nicht gereinigt worden ; jede nicht mit einem waschbaren Überzug versehene Decke ist aber im höchsten Grade unhygienisch. 



   Es gibt auch von beiden Seiten gleichfarbige   Bettbezüge ;   diese haben aber den Nachteil, dass das Bett auch tagsüber einen weniger schönen Eindruck macht. 



    PATENTANSPRÜCHE ;    
1. Bettbezug mit zwei Abteilungen, von denen die eine zur Aufnahme einer Decke bestimmt und mit einer in an sich bekannter Weise verschliessbaren Öffnung versehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zweite Abteilung (4) nach aussen hin allseitig abgeschlossen und nichtfilllbar ist.
