Photographische Kamera
Fig. 1) trägt an ihrer Vorderseite das auswechselbare Objektiv 2 (vgl. Fig. 1 und 2), welches eine eingebaute Blende besitzt.
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Photographic camera
The present invention relates to a photographic camera with an exchangeable lens, the built-in diaphragm of which is set or preselected by an adjusting ring on the camera or shutter side, and aims to create a program control for the diaphragm and the exposure time mechanism.
The previously known devices for setting the aperture and the exposure time mechanism according to a predetermined program were for the interchangeability of
Unsuitable lenses. In particular, the couplings consisting of gears or other form-fitting connections between the mechanisms for the diaphragm and the exposure time were a hindrance. Furthermore, the known devices had the disadvantage that they did not readily allow settings for flash exposures. Conventional shutdown mechanisms for program control which are to be provided for this purpose, for example, would, however, for the most part cancel out the adjustment simplification aimed at by said program control, because additional handling would have to be operated.
The object of the invention is to create a program control suitable for the interchangeability of lenses while avoiding the disadvantages mentioned above and at the same time to adapt this program control to the requirements for flash photography.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the adjusting ring on the camera or shutter side adjusts the lens-side aperture, the shutter-side exposure time mechanism and the camera-side tracking pointer of an exposure meter by means of control cams via axially displaceable, preferably force-fitting, rams. The connection between the tappets and the adjusting ring allows the adjusting ring to be adjusted over a full turn. For the purpose of taking flash photos, the adjusting ring preferably has, in addition to the adjustment range in which it has control curves for the joint adjustment of aperture and exposure time, an adjustment range with only one control curve, in which ranges it can be adjusted while maintaining an exposure time suitable for flash photography (e.g.
B. 1/30 sec) only adjusts the aperture and in which the adjusting ring carries an auxiliary distance scale, which is arranged opposite a scale with values for flash guide numbers. Because of the necessary marking of the adjustment range intended for flash photography, special brands are assigned to the auxiliary distance scale and the flash guide number scale. Furthermore, in this area intended for flash photography, a control curve of the adjusting ring swivels the tracking pointer out of the exposure meter window, in order to make it impossible for the two pointers to coincide, which is reserved for daylight photography. The details of the invention can be seen from an illustrated and described embodiment.
1 shows the overall view of a camera, FIG. 2 shows the arrangement of the auxiliary distance scale on the adjusting ring, and FIG. 3 shows the control device with part of the unwound adjusting ring.
The front of the camera 1 (see FIG. 1) has the exchangeable lens 2 (see FIG. 1 and 2), which has a built-in aperture. A spring 3 (see FIG. 3) tends to pull the diaphragm into its smallest opening and to press the plunger 4 against the control cam 5 of the adjusting ring 6.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The adjusting ring 6 also has a control cam 7. As a result of the spring 9, the plunger 8 rests against this control cam 7, the spring 9 being attached to the exposure time mechanism 10 and an angle lever 11 being arranged between said exposure time mechanism 10 and the plunger 8. Due to the spring 14 attached to the tracking pointer 13, the plunger 15 rests against another control cam 12 of the adjusting ring 6. The tracking pointer 13 is visible in a window 17 together with the instrument pointer 16 of a light meter (not shown in particular).
The adjusting ring 6 is provided with the auxiliary distance scale 18, opposite which a flash guide number scale 19 is fixed to the housing. Two marks 20 on both sides of the auxiliary distance scale 18 indicate when the countermark 21 fixed to the housing is reached when the adjustment range of the adjusting ring 6 intended for flash photography is reached or exceeded.
In order to be able to take both daylight recordings and flash recordings with the adjusting ring 6 without actuating special switching elements, the control cams 5 and 7 of the adjusting ring 6 are divided into two control areas A and B. In control area A, the control cams 5 and 7 alternately adjust the aperture and the exposure time mechanism, while in control area B, only the aperture is adjusted while maintaining an exposure time suitable for flash photography (e.g. 1/30 sec.). In this control area B, the above-mentioned distance auxiliary scale 18 is effective. Furthermore, in this control area B, the control cam 12 steps back so far that the tracking pointer 13 is pivoted out of the window 17.
The new device works as follows:
By tightening the bayonet ring 22, the desired lens 2 is firmly connected to the camera 1. The aperture corresponding to the current position of the adjusting ring 6 is set automatically by pressing the plunger 4 against the spring 3.
If daylight recordings are to be taken, the adjusting ring 6 is rotated for a long time until the tracking pointer 13 lies above the instrument pointer 16. During this rotation, both the lens-side diaphragm and the control curve 7, the shutter-side exposure time mechanism have been adjusted according to the program entered by the control cams 5 and 7 of the adjusting ring.
EMI2.1
18 the value of the distance between the flash lamp and the object being photographed is compared to the flash guide number of the flash lamp used on the flash guide number scale 19. The correct aperture value is automatically obtained without changing the exposure time. It is only to be noted that the counter mark 21 does not get outside the control area B identified by marks 20.
If this is the case with the selected flash lamp and the set distance, a proper picture is not possible. A picture can only be taken by changing either the distance or by selecting a different flash lamp.
