  Rohrbruchventil mit durch das Treibmittel belastetem Selbstschlusskörper, 
Durch die eigentümliche Konstruktion und Wirkungsweise des Rohrbruchventiles nach Patent Nr.   sol853,   durch welche eine stetige Dampfbelastung erzielt wird, ist diese Einrichtung weniger als andere der Wirkung des vom Dampf mitgeführten Wassers ausgesetzt.

   Um den Selbstschlusskörper jedoch der Wirkung dieser Wasserteilchen gänzlich zu entziehen, erhält er, wie die Zeichnung zeigt, einen zylindrischen Rand r, welcher in einen rohrförmigen Vorsprung a des Ventilgehäuses mit entsprechendem Zwischenraum hineinragt (also nicht wie ein Kolben abdichtet), so dass das vom Dampf mitgeführte, mit grosser Geschwindigkeit anlangeude Wasser nur höchstens den zylindrischen Rand, nicht aber die   kegelförmige     Fläche   des Selbstschlusskörpers a treffen kann. 



   Um zu verhindern, dass der vorüberströmende Dampf einen Druckabfall in dem Raum unter dem   Selbstscblusskörper   verursache, wird dessen zylindrischer Rand r durchbohrt, wie bei p ersichtlich.

Claims

PATENT CLAIM: Broken pipe according to Patent No. 21853, characterized in that the self-closing body protrudes with a cylindrical edge r into a tubular projection s of the valve housing at a corresponding distance, so that the (ogelflliche of the self-closing body is completely withdrawn from the action of the water entrained by the steam), holes p being provided in the cylindrical edge for the purpose of pressure equalization.
