EMI1.2

<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
So könnte z.

The invention relates to a machine for vibratory grinding, with a fixed work container in which a turntable is arranged, uI wherein a drive shaft for the turntable in a connected to the work container
EMI1.1
VCEende the drive shaft is connected to a hollow shaft extending down over the bearing tube until it is fastened to the turntable.
EMI1.2
In these known machines, the workpieces to be ground are introduced into the working container together with grinding bodies, and the turntable is then set in rotation. The filling material is turned by the turntable into a spiral or. brought helical circulation.
The resulting relative movement between the grinding wheels and workpieces and the increased contact pressure under the influence of centrifugal force achieve high grinding performance and short machining times.
In order to be able to adjust the height of the turntable in relation to the work container, adjustability for the turntable must be provided. In the known machines, this is done by attachments to the flange-like connection between the drive shaft and the hollow shaft. Apart from the fact that the adjustment by means of inserts is relatively cumbersome, it is difficult to carry out with the desired accuracy.
The invention has set itself the goal of creating a machine of the type mentioned, in which the adjustment of the height of the turntable is possible in a simpler and more precise manner than before. This is achieved in a surprisingly simple manner in that a clamping sleeve or withdrawal sleeve is used to connect the drive shaft and the hollow shaft
EMI1.3
solves the task in the simplest way.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, that is connected at its upper end to a disk body, dittitt with a conical, with the clamping

sleeve cooperating bore and is provided with concentrically arranged threaded bores. Screws of a cover closing the central part of the turntable can be screwed into these threaded bores.
The invention also provides a device for adjusting the height of the turntable. Such a device consists essentially of a plate with a protruding sleeve-shaped extension, the inside diameter of which corresponds to the diameter of the drive shaft, with further screws which can be screwed into the threaded bores of the disk body being arranged on this plate in addition to a centrally located screw. When using this device, the height of the turntable can be adjusted easily and very precisely by adjusting the screws.
The invention is described in more detail below on the basis of an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawings. 1 shows a machine according to the invention in longitudinal section. FIG. 2 shows in a comparison with FIG. 1
EMI2.1
device for adjusting the height of the turntable.
According to FIG. 1, a work container consists of a lower part 1, a middle part 2 and an upper part 3. These three parts are connected to one another by flanges and expediently pivotably fastened on a machine frame (not shown).
A central bearing tube 4 is welded into the lower part 1, which receives the lower bearing 5 and the upper bearing 6 for a drive shaft 7. Furthermore, a rinsing connection 9 and a drain 10 are arranged in the lower part 1.
Both the middle part 2 and the upper part 3 are provided with a lining 8, preferably made of polyurethane. Such a lining 8 is also provided for a turntable 11, which closes off the middle part 2 at the bottom. Spring steel rings are inserted into the gap 12 between the linings 8 of the turntable 11 and the central part 2, i. H. a spring steel ring is fitted into the middle part 2 and a second spring steel ring is pressed onto the turntable 11.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
A hollow shaft 14 connected to the turntable 11 via a flange 13 extends concentrically upwards over the bearing tube 4 and is connected there to the drive shaft 7. The hollow shaft 14 is also provided with a covering 8, so that the entire interior of the working container is lined.
The connection of the drive shaft 7 driven by an indicated motor M to the hollow shaft 14 takes place via a disk body 15 and a clamping sleeve 16. The disk body 15 is fixedly connected to the hollow shaft 14 and is pushed onto the clamping sleeve 16 with its conical inner bore. The slotted clamping sleeve 16 has, in a known manner, an external thread onto which a lock nut 17 is screwed. Tightening the lock nut 17 presses the cones of the adapter sleeve 16 and the disk body 15 into one another and thus establishes a non-positive connection between the two parts.
1 that the disk body 15 is provided with threaded bores 18, into which screws 19 of a cover 20 that closes off the central part of the turntable 11 are screwed.
FIG. 2 shows a device for adjusting the height of the turntable 11, which is placed on the drive shaft 7 or the disk body 15. This device consists essentially of a plate 21 with holes 22 which are arranged on a bolt circle. which corresponds to the bolt circle of the threaded bores 18 in the disk body 15. Screws 23 are inserted into the bores 22 and are provided with hexagon nuts 24. In the middle of the plate 21 is a sleeve-shaped extension 25 <p-a $, the inside diameter of which corresponds to the outside diameter of the drive shaft 7. On the plate 21 are also centered
EMI3.1
The procedure for setting the height of the turntable 11 is as follows:
For the time being, the clamping sleeve 16 is plugged onto the drive shaft 7 and the screws 23 are screwed into the threaded bores 18 of the disk body 15. The locknut 17
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
is screwed onto the clamping sleeve 16 and the adjusting device is lowered by means of the nuts 24 until the shoulder 25 rests on the clamping sleeve 16. With the help of the screw 26, the turntable 11 is provisionally brought to the correct height. The nuts 24 are now loosened to such an extent that the clamping sleeve 16 lifts off slightly from the shoulder 25, which enables the nut 17 to be tightened without hindrance.
With the screw 26 the turntable 11 is precisely adjusted in the vertical direction and then the lock nut 17 is tightened and secured with a locking plate (not shown). Now the adjusting device can be removed and the cover 20 can be fastened by means of the screws 19.
From the above description it can be seen how easy it is to adjust the height of the turntable as a result of the measures according to the invention. However, numerous modifications are still possible within the scope of the invention. For example, B. instead of the adapter sleeve, an extraction sleeve can be used.
