Tube.

Tube.
The object of the invention relates to paper od. like tubes. Tubes made from paper are unsuitable for most purposes because of their poor resistance to mechanical and chemical stresses. According to the invention, a paper od. Like. Tube made of a two-layer or multi-layer paper od. Like. B1hn made, in which the individual paper od. Like. Web are connected to one another by intermediate layers, which both ensure the cohesion of the webs and can give water, fat, acid, alkali, etc., but the intermediate layer is such that the flexibility of the paper od. Like. Railway is retained. So are suitable as intermediate layers such. B.
Rubber milk or the like artificial or natural dispersions in the concentrated or diluted state, optionally with additives and fillers which are customary per se, such dispersions also being usable in vulcanized form. Interlayers of this type have the advantage that the elasticity and strength of the two-layer or multilayer tube can even be increased and the tube is at the same time given water-tightness and acid resistance.
An embodiment of such a two-layer or multi-layer paper or. like
Tube with a coating of an impregnation or coating agent that is particularly resistant to chemical attack, such as. B. with a coating of varnish or varnish, such as an Öllvek, a cellulose varnish (nitrocellulose varnish or the like.), An asphalt varnish or the like. Or with a coating of an impregnating agent like paraffin Coating can be provided either outside or inside or outside and inside. For tubes with such a coating or such an impregnation inside or outside or inside and outside, the two-layer or multi-layer structure with an intermediate layer between the individual paper od. like
The effect is that the coating or the impregnation cannot penetrate the entire wall thickness, so that such a tube cannot become brittle and unsightly and does not suffer in its external appearance.
Such a two-layer or multi-layer tube with a coating on the outside or inside or outside and inside enables a completely tight closure of the tube contents, which can be achieved with a single layer of paper or Like. Manufactured tube with a coating inside or outside or outside and inside cannot be reached.
For such paper tubes, the method according to the invention has the particular advantage that they are particularly soft and flexible and can therefore also be easily rolled up and squeezed without suffering.
In the drawing, an embodiment of a two-layer tube is shown in cross-section and longitudinal section in FIGS. 1 and 2 and in FIGS. 3 and 4 an embodiment of a multilayer tube is shown in cross-section and longitudinal section, the windings being shown exaggerated at a certain distance from one another for the sake of clarity are.
In the embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 2, the paper tube consists of a two-layer paper web a, with an intermediate layer <-, e.g. B. od from rubber milk. Like., Rolled or wrapped. In the embodiment of the drawing, the two-layer tube is provided with an outer coating or an outer impregnation cl and an inner impregnation e, e.g. B. made of a correspondingly resistant lacquer, which also protects the edges t, g of the tube.

In the embodiment of FIGS. 3 and 4, the tube is rolled or bent in more than two layers, being provided in the same way as in the embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 2 with an inner coating e and outer coating d or such an impregnation.
