Lighting fixtures.
The present invention is a lighting fixture for pure white light, especially for shop windows and. like
For this purpose, various types of lighting fixtures have become known, through which pure white, mild light should be achieved. The lighting fixtures known up to now can essentially be divided into two groups: one group uses special incandescent lamps, which are usually quite expensive, while the second group uses mirror surfaces through which the light is supposed to be intensified, although this was not previously possible with the second group to create a satisfying lighting fixture.
All these disadvantages are eliminated by the lighting fixture according to the present invention, which is very simple in its construction and yet offers pure white, mild light, so that such lighting fixtures are particularly suitable for shop windows or the like, where it is important to display the goods in natural color. This effect is achieved through a clever combination of the bulb holder and the lower shell.
The essence of the invention consists in a combination of a wave-shaped mirror reflector arranged around the incandescent lamp, which is provided with a melted-in blue filter, with a lower shell which is partly made of opal clad glass and crystal glass, etched on the inside.
The object of the invention will be explained in more detail on the basis of the drawings, which show a longitudinal section through the lighting fixture according to the invention (Fig. 1).
Fig. 2 is another embodiment of the lighting fixture, from which the placement of the lower shell on the reflector emerges.
3 and 4, the shape of the edge of the reflector 4 is shown diagrammatically and in plan view.
As can be seen from the drawing, the bulb 2 is attached to the socket 1 in any suitable manner, for. B. by means of a matching retaining ring 3 with thread, a mirror reflector 4 is attached, the reflection surface of which is not smooth, but is wavy in longitudinal section, so that it appears to be composed of rings of different diameters that are curved outward. These rings are lined up so that the reflector 4 has an approximately circular cross-section. The reflection surface of the reflector 4 is formed by a melted-down blue filter 5, so that the light beams emitted by the incandescent lamp 2 emerge from the reflector with increased intensity after repeated refraction.
After exiting the reflector 4, the light rays pass through a lower shell made of overlaid opal glass 6 and crystal glass 7, etched on the inside, whereby the light is evenly distributed.
The lower shell 6-7, which is made from one piece, can of course be of any shape and is attached either to the shell holder 8 or to the reflector 4 itself in a suitable manner, e.g. B. with the help of screws or so that the circumference of the reflector 4 is cut off at two opposite points (not shown), so that the lower shell can be easily pushed onto the reflector. In this way you get a dust-tight mutual closure of the parts of the lighting fixture.
The lighting fixture according to the invention has an average of three times greater illuminance than all previously known lighting fixtures, from which a significant current

savings result, the light is pure white so that the illuminated objects appear in their natural color. In addition, the luminaire provides a glare-free light with more practical
Light distribution, to which advantages the very light and comfortable mounting is added.
It goes without saying that the embodiment described and illustrated can be modified in various ways, e.g. B. in the training and the mutual arrangement of the reflector and the lower shell, without going beyond the scope of the invention.
