   Es ist bekannt, Drahtnetze oder Drahtgeflechte mit Fäden u. dgl. zu besticken. Es war jedoch bisher unzweckmässig, solche Drahtnetze als Stickunterlage zur Herstellung von Petit-Point-und Gobelin-
Stickereien zu verwenden, da die Stickfäden durch das Scheuern an den blanken Netzgitterlöchern beschädigt wurden. 



   Um diesem Übelstand abzuhelfen, wird gemäss der Erfindung das feinmaschige Drahtnetz oder Drahtgeflecht mit einem straff gespannten Textilmaterial unterlegt. Beim Besticken des so vorbereiteten Netzes wird durch die Stiekstiehe die Textilunterlage miteingestiekt und in die Löcher des Metallnetzes hineingezogen, so dass die Stickfäden nicht an den blanken   Netzgitterlochern anliegen   und daher nicht durchgescheuert werden können.
