Der wirksame Teil 1 der Reinigungsvorrichtung hat die Form eines halbmondförmigen Spatels, dessen wirksame Arbeitskante 2 stumpf ist und eine abwärts, d. h. gegen die Zunge gerichtete Konvexkrümmung aufweist. Diese Krümmung entspricht den anatomischen Bedingungen, welche durch die Senkung der Zunge während des Reinigungsverfahrens sich ergeben (Fig. 7), d. h., sie entspricht der oberen Begrenzung des Querschnittes durch die Zunge 2'. Die konvexe Krümmung der Arbeitskante der Reinigungsvorrichtung ist insbesondere aus den Fig. 1 und 2 zu ersehen.

Bei der in den Fig. 4-6 dargestellten Ausführungsform sind an Stelle des einfachen stielartigen Trägers, welcher bei der Ausführungsform nach Fig. 1-3 im mittleren Teil des halbkreisförmigen Reinigungswerkzeuges an dasselbe angeschlossen ist, zwei in V-Form angeordnete und miteinander verbundene Träger vorgesehen, von denen jeder sich an eines der Enden 8 des halbkreisförmigen Reinigungswerkzeuges anschliesst.
Der aus den Elementen 5, 4, 6 und 1 gebildete Teil ist zu Desinfektionszweeken von dem eigentlichen Handgriff 3 abnehmbar und kann mit ihm in irgendwelcher Weise, beispielsweise durch Verschraubung 13, verbunden sein.
Fig. 7 zeigt die Anwendungsweise des Werkzeuges und lässt erkennen, dass es unter dem scharfen unteren Rand der oberen Vorderzähne durchgeführt werden kann und dass man mit der Reinigung- vorriehtung die Zungenwurzel, ohne den weichen Gaumen zu berühren, erreichen kann.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Vorrichtung zum Entfernen des Belages von der Oberfläche der Zunge, unter Verwendung eines halbmondförmigen Reinigungsspatels als wirksames Arbeitsorgan, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die stumpfe Arbeitskante des Spatels eine konvexe Krümmung aufweist, die der konkaven Krümmung des mittleren Teiles der Zunge entspricht, welche dieselbe in der Querrichtung zufolge der Reflexbewegung während des Reinigungsvorganges erfährt, so dass trotz der Senkung der Zunge eine über die ganze Zungenoberfläche sich gleichmässig und vollständig erstreckende Reinigung erreicht wird.
