EMI2.1

elements. The loosely guided through the coaxial bores in the clamping cone and in the screw cap and through the longitudinal slot, which can be seen at 7 in the illustration, in the approach of the screw cap
EMI2.1
This conical clamping device already forms a closed whole after assembly, with which a suspension device and contact connections for the discharge can now be connected. In the exemplary embodiment, the screw cap 6 is designed at the top as screw supports onto which an end cap 9 is screwed. This end cap hangs in a wire bracket 10 (FIG. 2) which is held under a porcelain egg chain.
The end cap also serves to bring the drain wire 12 into firm contact with the clamping device.
The mode of operation of the arrangement is as follows: The clamping cone 4 inserted under the braided jacket 1 presses the braided jacket - after the press nut 5 has been pushed over and screwed into the screw cap 6 - with strong pressure against the conical inner surface of the press nut. This prevents the sheath braid, which alone carries the entire tensile load and occasional bending loads, from being pulled out. The inner conductor is led out through the inner bore from the screw cap 6 to the connection screw 8 with a sufficiently large amount of space, so that a perfect relief of the thin inner conductor is achieved without crushing and kinking.
PATENT CLAIMS:

3. Line end closure according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the clamping cone (4) and the screw cap (6) are provided with coaxial bores for leading out the relieved inner conductor.
4. Line termination according to claims 1 and 3, characterized in that the inner bore of the clamping cone has a diameter such that the insulating sheathing of the inner conductor can be inserted.
EMI2.4
through an extension piece (for example an upper visual dust socket) of the visual dust cap extending bore receives a clamping screw for fastening the inner conductor.
6. Line termination according to claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the extension piece of the Sehraubkappe has a longitudinal slot for the lateral lead out of the inner conductor from the
