Will man eine mit einem entsprechenden Steckkontakt versehene Leuchte an das Stromnetz anschlie- ssen, so braucht man nur die blank gemachten Enden 14 der Zuleitungen in die Bohrungen 13, 13' der Klemmklötze 11, 11'einstecken, die Schraubkappe 3 über den Steckkontakt 8 schieben, diesen mit seinen Stiften 7 in die Steckbuchsen 6 einfuhren und dann die Schraubkappe auf das Gewinde des Ansatzes 2 aufschrauben. Dabei wird auch das Druckstück 21 nach oben verschoben, wobei sein unteres Ende auf die Oberfläche des Ringes 20 gleitet und so allmählich nach oben wandert, bis die Zuleitungsdrahte 14 in den Löchern 13 bzw. an der oben befindlichen Platte 12 festgeklemmt sind und so der elektrische Kontakt hergestellt ist.
Für die Abnahme genügt es, umgekehrt die Schraubkappe abzuschrauben, um den Steckkontakt bzw. die Zuleitungsdrähte herauszuziehen. Der ganze Vorgang ist daher so einfach, dass er auch vom Laien ohne grosse Mühe durchgeführt werden kann.
