  Saatgutbeize.

     Beispiel 1. 1-0xy-3-ehlorphenyl-4-hydrazinsulfosaures   Natrium :

  Seed dressing.

   It has been found that oxyphenylhydrazines, their derivatives and substitution products are well suited for dressing seeds. A surprising advance compared to the previously known mercury-free seed dressings with the compounds to be used according to the application is that the oxyphenylhydrazines, their derivatives and substitution products can be used against all diseases that can be transmitted through the seed and can be combated with chemical agents, while the previously known metal-free agents only work against one or the other pest.

   The oxyphenylhydrazines, their derivatives and substitution products can be used both as dry and as wet dressings with suitable extenders, wetting agents or as a mixture with other suitable fungicides.

   The following examples describe the effect of some oxyphenylhydrazines.

     Example 1. 1-0xy-3-chlorophenyl-4-hydrazinesulfonic acid sodium:
 EMI1.1

<tb>
<tb> 1. <SEP> Fusarium. <SEP> Infestation <SEP> in <SEP>%.

<tb> IV. <SEP> Steinbrand <SEP> of <SEP> wheat.
<tb>

   An application of 2: 1000 prevented the spores from germinating on wheat kernels infected with stone blight.

   Instead of sodium 1-oxy-3-chlorophenyl-4-hydrazinesulfonic acid, you can also use the oxalic acid salt of l-oxy-4-phenylhydrazine or the relevant chlorohydrate.
