Rückdruck-Gasturbine.

Back pressure gas turbine.
The present invention relates to a Rüekdruek gas turbine with a housing rotating around a stationary hollow shaft and consists essentially in the fact that in this housing one or more charging pumps and separated from them, but connected by channels, as many combustion chambers are arranged, their outlet channels are surrounded by a stationary ring which has half as many outlet slots as there are combustion chambers.
The operation of the shown in the drawing in an exemplary embodiment
The turbine is as follows: As a result of the prevailing negative pressure in the housing c, the gas-air mixture generated by the carburetor flows through the hollow shaft a into the interior of the housing c. The gas-air mixture can also be introduced through the hollow shaft by means of a fan, or the combustion air can flow in through the valves o due to the negative pressure prevailing in the housing and the fuel (petrol, gas, etc.) can be injected or blown in under pressure through the hollow shaft a.
As a result of the rotation of the housing c in the clockwise direction, the pistons e, their extended
Piston pin i must inevitably be guided in the grooves k of the grooved disk b, an upward and downward movement. When the pistons e are low, the inflow slots 1 are opened in three of the six cylinders, whereby the gases flow into the cylinders and through the connecting ducts m into the combustion chambers t. With further rotation of the housing c, the pistons e are moved radially outward, whereby they push the gas mixture into the combustion chambers f and compress it therein.
As soon as the pistons e reach the dead center position, they remain in this position due to the flattening of the grooves k of the groove disks b (Fig. 2) in order to seal the combustion chambers / against the cylinders d and an axial pressure due to the ignition and expansion occurring at this point in time the gases during the combustion process to prevent the piston e. The pistons e are held in the dead center position as long as the outlet channels n and h remain open and the combustion residues are thrown out of the combustion chambers.
In the turbine shown in the drawing with six cylinders including pistons as charging pumps and with six combustion chambers, three combustion chambers are always charged, while the combustion process takes place in the other three. As a result, when the combustion chambers rotate around the hollow shaft a, each chamber comes into action three times, whereby 18 combustion processes take place in six chambers.
The ignition takes place in the usual way electrically by means of spark plugs which are arranged laterally in the chambers t.
