Process for the preparation of a practically of gases, alkalis, acids, organic and inorganic
Additions of free water.
The invention relates to an improvement of the method described in patent no. 138498 for producing water that is practically free of salt, acid and gas.
According to the parent patent, the water is subjected to a distillation after the electrochemical treatment and then degassed. Both in the distillation and in the subsequent degassing, which according to the cited patent should be done by boiling under reflux, there is at least the possibility of a renewed uptake of gases and thus the success of the whole process is nullified or at least greatly reduced .
The present invention is intended to eliminate the disadvantage mentioned and to carry out the degassing at the same time as the distillation in one, for which a vacuum apparatus known per se can be used, which is expediently made in all parts of unassailable material for the purposes of the invention.
The method according to the invention is explained below using an exemplary embodiment.
50 liters of largely pre-purified water, suitably filtered condensation water, are allowed to flow into an electro-dialytic apparatus in a thin stream. In the apparatus, the water is cleaned of salts and inorganic admixtures through electrochemical decomposition.
An electro-dialysis apparatus used in practice can, for example, produce electodialysis-purified water in the amount of 60-80 liters per hour by using a primary water of about 70 mg evaporation residue per liter. By multiplying. or by enlarging the individual parts of the apparatus it is of course possible to produce a multiple of the stated amount in the same period of time.
After leaving the electro-dialytic apparatus, this pre-purified water, which experience has shown already meets the requirements that the various pharmacopoeias tend to place on distilled water, is poured into a water made from absolutely resistant material, e.g. B. Quartz-built vacuum distillation apparatus moved in. In this, the water is made to evaporate at a temperature of around 50-600 C and using a vacuum that is as perfect as possible, whereby overspraying must be prevented by appropriate equipment. The product is then condensed in a powerful cooler in order to be collected in appropriate receivers.
These templates also serve as storage containers for the finished water, which is then filled into appropriately cleaned bottles or other vessels, suitably made of resistant material.
The following is the result of the analysis of a purified water produced by the process according to the invention, which can be described as practically completely gas-free:
