Description

  Hilfsmittel für die Textilindustrie.
 EMI1.1

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 EMI2.1

 EMI2.1
 Acetic acid and 0.5 g betaine (produced from the amine mixture obtained from coconut oil fatty acid via the nitrile by dimethylation and reaction of the resulting reaction product with sodium chloroacetic acid).

   You go in, slowly boil, and treat at boiling temperature for three quarters of an hour.

  Then 20 cm3 of 96% sulfuric acid are slowly added, boiled for another half an hour, rinsed and the dyeing is completed.

   The coloration obtained is stronger, more level and more beautiful than a coloration of the same dye produced without the addition of betaine.

   5. A 2% coloration of dye no. 726 of the dye tables by Schulz, 7th edition, prepared in the usual way on cotton is rinsed and at 30 ° C. for half an hour in an aqueous bath containing 3 g of hexyl betaine per liter , treated at a liquor ratio 1:20.

  Then it is rinsed and dried. The dye treated in this way has a significantly higher resistance to water, perspiration and acid boiling than the original dye.

   6. A 2% dyeing of dye no. 566 of the dye tables by Schulz, 7th edition, on cotton is rinsed and for half an hour at 30 ° C. in an aqueous bath containing 3 g of the betaine mentioned in Example 4 per liter , treated at a liquor ratio of 1:20, rinsed and dried. The dye treated in this way is more luminous in yellow than the original dye and has better water fastness.
