Haubenmaske.
Bei den Gummibaubenmasken stört das Gewicht des an der Maske befestigten Filtereinsatzes insofern, als das Filter bei Bewegung des Kopfes zur Seite geschleudert wird. Es sind Masken bekannt, an welchen Bänder vorgesehen waren, die zum Tragen des Filtereinsatzes dienten. Bei Gummihaubenmasken bietet jedoch die Befestigung dieser Tragbänder Schwierigkeiten, da der Maskenkörper nur aus dünnem Gummi besteht.
Die Erfindung beseitigt diese Unzuträgliehkeiten. Nach der Erfindung ist am Mundring der Maske, der zum Anschrauben des Atemfilters dient, ein Band angebracht, das vollkommen frei von der Maske ist und bei aufgesetzter Maske über den Kopf des Gerätträgers gelegt wird und somit das verhältnismässig schwere Atemfilter trägt. Hiedurch wird bei Kopfbewegungen ein Schleudern des Filtereinsatzes verhütet.
Bei abgenommener Maske oder bei Gasbereitschaft wird das Band als Tragband für das Gerät benutzt.
Um bei angelegter Maske das Abrutschen des Tragbandes vom Kopf zu verhindern, kann noch ein Sicherungsband vorgesehen werden, das aus einem am Tragband ungefähr in der Schläfengegend befestigten zweiten Band besteht, das über die Stirn des Gerätträgers geführt ist.
Die Fig. 1-3 stellen den Erfindungsgegenstand in Ansicht dar.
Fig. 1 zeigt eine aufgesetzte Maske nach der Erfindung. Fig. 2 zeigt die Maske in Bereitschaft getragen. a ist die Maske selbst mit dem Mundring b. An diesem Mundring sind Ösen c angebracht, die zur Befestigung des Bandes d dienen. Dieses Band ist bei aufgesetzter Maske um den Kopf des Maskenträgers gelegt. Bei in Bereitschaft getragener Maske hält es die Maske am Hals des Trägers fest. Fig. 3 zeigt den Erfindungsgegenstand mit Sicherungsband. Das Sicherungsband e ist mittels Knöpfen oder ähnlichen Haltegliedern/an dem Tragband d befestigt und wird bei angelegter Maske vor der Stirne getragen.

When the mask is removed or when the gas is ready, the strap is used as a carrying strap for the device.
