Emergency connection device for direct current.

circuits, it is advisable to switch on the choke coil in the ungrounded conductor. The way out is now to use a double choke, one of which is switched to one conductor and the other to the other conductor of the network.
However, this has the disadvantage of the large, unnecessary voltage drop and current loss. Furthermore, when connecting a light antenna, consideration must be given to the earthed conductor of the network, i.e. H. it must not be connected to this.
The radio set owner who is not familiar with circuits, who wants to connect his set to the direct current network and should determine the earthed conductor of the direct current network for the purpose of eliminating interference, cannot do this without difficulty.
For this purpose, the radio set ready for connection to the lighting network is attached or built in, through which it is easily possible for the layman to quickly and safely switch the filter elements necessary for trouble-free operation into the correct line. This switching element is used to keep network noises away from a choke coil or the like in the correct conductor and short-circuited the other conductor, with the capacitor of the light antenna being placed in the ungrounded conductor at the same time as the choke coil.
A multi-pole changeover switch or a suitable plug can be used for switching.
In the drawing of an exemplary embodiment, FIGS. 1 and 3 show the connection of the power supply unit to the a-, b-conductor, the other time to the b-, c-conductor of the network whose b-conductor is grounded.
FIGS. 3-6 show the use of a plug contact for switching over the conductor in question.
In FIGS. 1 and 2, a, b and c show the three conductors of the direct current network, of which the b conductor is grounded. In Fig. 1, the tip and ring leads to a socket s, to which the power supply can be connected by means of a plug contact. The two conductors a, b now lead to the two connection points 1, 3 of the multipole switch U, from where the conductor a via the

At the connection point 7, the capacitor C is connected to the light antenna 1 and is at the same time appropriately switched over with the choke coil.

coil D. Fig. 6 shows the plug with the socket pins 1-6, of which 1 with 4, 3 with 2 and 5 with 6 are permanently connected.
If the plug is now plugged in, as indicated by dashed lines in Fig. 4, to connect the power line a, b, the b line is short-circuited via 1 and 4 and the choke coil D is connected to the a line 3, 2, D, 5, 6 switched, whereas in Fig. 5 when using the

4, 5 and the b line appears connected via 3 and 6.
With this simple move, the desired effect is achieved and the device switched on without interference.
