  Kondensatorelektrode.

  Capacitor electrode.

The subject matter of the invention is a capacitor electrode which can be used without a counter electrode and which results in a slight depth effect, so that it is primarily suitable for surface therapy.

According to the invention, the metal electrode is subdivided, there are two connecting pieces and one of two adjacent partial electrodes is connected to one and the other to the other connecting piece.

An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the figure.

From the insulating sleeve 1, the z. B. consists of rubber, a piece is folded out so that a part of the strip-shaped partial electrodes 2 is visible. The partial electrodes 2 are alternately connected to the connection pieces 5 and 6 via the lines 3 and 4.

It is readily apparent that when the capacitor electrode illustrated in the figure is connected to the two connection terminals, e.g. For example, a shortwave therapy apparatus creates a treatment field that is composed of the subfields that are formed between two adjacent subelectrodes. The field lines run in the immediate vicinity of the surface of the electrode, because after leaving a partial electrode they soon bend over to the shortest
Ways to get to the neighboring partial electrode. Since the individual partial electrodes are only a little apart from one another, as has been found in practice, a field occurs that is almost evenly distributed over the entire electrode surface.
