Mixing shower with foot actuation.
In public shower baths, mixed showers are mostly used, which can be set in and out of action by a footboard in order to ensure that the shower is switched off automatically and automatically after leaving the cabin and thereby avoid water loss. In known mixing showers each with a cold and hot water valve, which are opened together by the foot step and a cam disk, the foot step must be turned to change the highest mixed water temperature, which then turns the cam disk. This arrangement is inconvenient for using the shower head. Therefore, according to the invention, this disc, which acts here on ball valves, z. B. by means of a hand lever-independently of the actuation of the disc and the valves by the footstep-rotated.
An example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows an elevation, partially in section, Fig. 2 shows a section through the ball valves and the cam disk actuating them.
The feed pipe 1, e.g. B. for cold water, opens into the room 2, which is closed at the top by the screw 3, while the ball valve 4 closes or releases access to the mixing chamber 5 depending on its position. The hot water supply line 6 opens into the space 7, which is closed at the top by the screw 8, while its connection with the mixing space 5 is blocked or blocked by the ball valve 9

Spindle 12 is fixed and it carries cams 13 and 14 at 11b. The upper end of the spindle 12 is rotatably and axially displaceably mounted in the housing 15. A spring 16 between the housing wall and the collar 11 a presses this and thus the spindle 12 constantly downwards against the cover 17, in which the spindle 12 is mounted again.
The point where the spindle 12 passes through the cover 17 is sealed by means of a stuffing box 20. The arm 23 with a handle 24 is fastened to a conical collar 21 of the spindle 12 by means of a screw 22. The spindle 12 is turned off spherically at its lower end at 25. One end of a double-armed lever 29 mounted on the support arm 28 is supported against this spherical end 12 by means of a cup 26 turned out in the shape of a dome,

The pan 26 is mounted in a recess 27 of 29. The whole device is z. B. attached by means of an arm 32 on the wall of the bathing cabin.
The highest temperature of the water is set by turning the handle 24. In this case, the cams M and 14 remain out of engagement with the valves 4 and 9, since the spring 16 constantly presses the disk 11 downwards against the cover 17. Only when the footstep 31 is depressed, the disk 11 and thus the ball valves 4 and 9 are raised. If the cams 13 and 14 are in the middle position between the two valves, the valves will not be lifted when the footstep is depressed, since the cams cannot engage the valves.
