Hahn, insbesondere fftr Wasserleitungen.

Tap, especially for water pipes.
The invention relates to a tap, in particular for water pipes, in which the valve spindle is movable independently of the tap body acting like a check valve and only serves as a guide and stop for the tap body. The subject of the invention is a special embodiment of the faceplate seal for the tap spindle, which offers the advantage of particular simplicity and compactness of the arrangement with the greatest seal security.
The drawing shows the tap designed according to the invention in a longitudinal section.
A closing ring 6 is placed on the inflow opening 5 of the two-part housing 1 of the tap, and a ring 8 is placed on the opening for the spindle 7. These rings are connected to the housing by welding. The tubular body 9, which is inserted tightly into the ring 6 and is provided with a threaded attachment 10 for screwing the valve into the line, is used to stiffen the housing and to accommodate the valve seat 11.
The nut 12, which has a thread for the spindle 7 and has a conical widening 13 at the lower end of its bore, is screwed into the ring 8. The conical, underneath head of the elastic cuff 14 surrounding the spindle can enter this widening. A nut 15 is screwed onto the spindle end, against which the cylindrical cuff with its
