   Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Elektrode für therapeutische Zwecke, die als   Anschlusselement   zwischen der Stromquelle und dem zu behandelnden menschlichen Körper dienen soll. 



   Die Erfindung besteht darin, dass angefeuchteter Zellstoff mit einer dünnen Schicht eines pulverförmigen Gemenges von Kaliumchlorat, Kupferoxyd und Bernstein oder ähnlich wirkender Mittel bestreut und sodann gewisse Zeit der Einwirkung einer Säure ausgesetzt, hierauf gewässert und getrocknet wird. 



   Ausführungsbeispiel : Eine 300 mm lange, 240 mm breite und 2 mm dicke Platte aus Zellstoff (ungeleimtes reines Papier) wird gleichmässig durchfeuchtet und sodann mit einem gut durchmischten pulverigen Gemenge von 2 g Kaliumchlorat, 2 g Kupferoxyd und 2 g Bernstein auf beiden Seiten gleichmässig bestreut und hierauf in ein aus etwa   5% iger Schwefelsäure   und gleichprozentiger Salpetersäure bestehendes Säurebad gebracht und in diesem Bade so lange belassen, bis sich die Platte seifenartig anfühlt. Hierauf wird, zweckmässig mit Hilfe fliessenden Wassers, gut gewässert und die Platte getrocknet.

   Embodiment: A 300 mm long, 240 mm wide and 2 mm thick plate made of cellulose (unsized pure paper) is evenly moistened and then sprinkled evenly on both sides with a well-mixed powdery mixture of 2 g potassium chlorate, 2 g copper oxide and 2 g amber and then placed in an acid bath consisting of about 5% sulfuric acid and equal percentage nitric acid and left in this bath until the plate feels soapy.
