Wassermesser-Prüfstation.
EMI1.1
Fig. 1).

Water meter test station.
EMI1.1
Place a vent line E in front of the downward bend. which can be closed by a shut-off means F. At the lower end of the inlet pipe C, the adjustment unit G is arranged. The setting manometer H is connected near the nozzle D.
Setting a certain flow rate history like this. that the required hydraulic pressure for the corresponding nozzle D is set on the basis of the display of the setting manometer H (power indicator) using the tap G. The correct display of the pressure gauge H
EMI1.2
indicated by the escape of water from the vent line.
In practical operation, the following deficiencies occur with this arrangement: 1. When the inflow is switched off, the setting manometer H does not show the desired muzzle pressure zero. but the water level in the inlet pipe C, which has run empty on one side (see FIG. 1).
. Only then does water emerge from the vent line E. as soon as the hydraulic pressure level is at least slightly greater than the vertical distance I from the nozzle mouth to the highest point of the vent line. Consequently, flow rates whose required hydraulic pressure levels are less than this distance I cannot be set by simply opening the setting tap, which is detrimental to the accuracy of the water meter tests. 3. In order to vent the inlet pipe C, the vent valve F, which is usually not easily accessible, has to be operated separately.
The subject of the invention is an arrangement which avoids these disadvantages.
An exemplary embodiment is shown in FIG. The inlet pipe C. which can be forked into two or more branches in a known manner. is performed according to Fig. 2 so. that the axis of the inlet pipe end and the nozzle D come to lie horizontally or slightly inclined upwards. This ensures that when the flow is switched off, the supply pipe runs empty
EMI1.3
Setting pressure gauge H displayed correctly.
With this arrangement, the venting of the inlet pipe C is automatic and at the same time through a continuously open pipe T? possible. With a nozzle opening pointing downwards, such a venting would be useless. The correct display of the setting manometer II would be disturbed in the lower area of the display division. By the

the nozzle orifice to the highest point of the inflow line in Fig. 1. If the axis of the inflow pipe end is slightly inclined upwards, the escape of air from the pipe is facilitated.
