Description

  Dampfinhalationsapparat.

  Steam inhaler.

There are already steam inhalers in which the liquid precipitating in the inhalation funnel is discharged to a collecting container surrounding the medicament vessel. In the present invention, a funnel-shaped collecting basin which is open at the bottom is used for this purpose, which passes through the plate on which the medicament container is otherwise arranged. The vessel containing the medication can easily be replaced in this funnel bank and the water or the like precipitating in the inhalation funnel flows out of this into the said funnel-shaped basin and out of this into a collecting vessel located below.

The drawing shows an embodiment of the invention.

In the previously known apparatus, there was a bowl on plate a, into which the condensation water flowed back from the glass mouthpiece b. This bowl soon became full of water. If you had to inhale several glasses of medicine, so far the suction tube t had to be removed from the apparatus, only then could the medicine glass g be removed and only then could the condensation water be poured out of the bowl. Then the device had to be reassembled in order to continue inhaling.
 EMI1.1
funnel-shaped and the plate a is provided with a hole in which the funnel-shaped
Receptacle c with its extension d is Underneath is a container e into which the condensation water flows through d.

This arrangement makes it possible to fill the medical glass g more frequently in succession without interrupting the inhalation and without having to dismantle the apparatus in order to be able to pour off the condensed water that has accumulated in the vessel c.
