  Kombiniertes Verfahren zur Umspritzung und Vulkanisation   gummlumhüllter   Leiter. 



   Bekanntlich muss der Gummi in der Schlauchmaschine bei dem Umspritzen um den Leiter eine bestimmte Temperatur haben. 



   Nun kommt es vor, dass die Umpresstemperatur für die betreffende Sorte Gummi etwas zu niedrig oder etwas zu hoch gewählt wurde. Die Folge davon ist, dass die umpresste Gummibedeckung unhomogen, rissig oder blasig wird, was oft erst nach Fertigstellung des Leitermaterials festgestellt werden kann. 



   Diese Fehlfabrikationen werden nach der Erfindung dadurch ausgeschaltet, dass gleichzeitig während der Umspritzung des Leiters die Vulkanisation mittels elektrischen Stromes durchgeführt wird ; dabei wird die Umspritztemperatur durch die Vulkanisationswärme ausgeglichen. 



   Dieses Verfahren wird so durchgeführt, dass der die Spritzmaschine durchlaufende Leiter an eine
Stromquelle angeschlossen und während der ganzen Fabrikationsphase vom Strom durchflossen wird. 



   Die dadurch erzeugte Stromwärme wird für den Vulkanisationsprozess ausgewertet. 



   Es liegt auf der Hand, durch Regulieren de3 Stromes die Temperatur den Erfordernissen anzupassen. 



   Der ablaufende, mit Gummi bedeckte Leiter wird auf eine in kaltem Wasser laufende Trommel zwecks Unterbrechung der Vulkanisation bzw. um eine Übervulkanisation zu verhindern, gewickelt.
Dabei wird die von der Ablaufgeschwindigkeit und Vulkanisationsdauer abhängige Weglänge des Gummi- leiters zwischen Maschine und Trommel so gewählt, dass die Vulkanisation bis zum Einlauf in das kalte
Wasser gerade beendet ist. 



   Durch diese neue kombinierte Fabrikationsweise sollen nicht nur die erwähnten Fehlfabrikationen vermieden werden, sondern gewinnt auch das Umspritzverfahren bedeutend an Ökonomie, da das Spritz- verfahren selbst unter erhöhter Temperatur vorgenommen wird. 



   PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Kombiniertes Verfahren zur Umspritzung und Vulkanisation gummiumhüllter Leiter, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Vulkanisation der Gummihülle mit Hilfe des elektrischen Stromes gleichzeitig während der Umspritzung des Leiters vorgenommen wird.
