Description

Vorrichtung zum selbsttätigen Regeln des Wasserstandes in Dampfkesseln u. dgl. Der Gegenstand der Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zum selbsttätigen Regeln des Wasserstandes in Dampfkesseln, Dampfgefäßen oder ähnlichen Apparaten. Diese bekannten Wasserstandsregler zeichnen sich durch eine ziemliche Größe und einen komplizierten Aufbau aus, wodurch ,es leider vorkommt, daß sie nicht bei allen Dampfkesseln, vor allen Dingen nicht bei kleineren Kesseln, verwendet werden können. Man hat fernerhin eine selbsttätige Wasserstandsrege-Iung vorgeschlagen, die darauf beruhte, daß beim Sinken des. Wasserspiegels unter einen bestimmten Punkt im Kessel ein Temperaturregler durch eine elektrische Heizvorrichtung beeinflußt wird, der seiners6its den Wasserzuflvß zum Kessel .bewegt,.,' z. B. den Motor für die Wasserpumpe einschaltet. Nach der Erfindung ist nun die elektrische Heizvorrichtung an einer bestimmten Stelle im Kessel in einem die Wärmegut leitenden Metallblock so eingebaut, daß beim Sinken des Wasserspiegels die von der elektrischen Heizvorrichtung ausgehende Wärme -nicht mehr vom Wasser aufgenommen, sondern ebenfalls dem in einem Metallblock angeordneten Temperaturregler bekannter Bauart zugeführt wird, durch welchen der Wasserzufluß zum Kessel beeinflußt, z. Der Temperaturregler kann beliebiger bekannter Bauart sein; der dargestellte zeigt .eine Bimetallfeder, welche bei einer bestimmten Temperatur sieh so in ihrer Gestalt verändert, daß .der Kontakt! .geschlossen und der Motor k für die Pumpe l in Tätigkeit gesetzt wird. Die Pumpe l wird nun so viel Wasser aus einem Vorratsbehälter m durch die Rohrleitungen n und o in den Kessel a fördern, bis der höchste Wasserstand x erreicht ist. B. den Motor für die Wasserpumpe einschaltet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwischen dem höchsten und niedrigsten Wasserspiegel im Dampfkessel ein die Wärme gut leitender Block vorgesehen ist, welcher zur Aufnahme der elektrischen Heizvorrichtung und des elektrischen Temperaturreglers dient, wobei beim Sinken des Wasserspiegels unter die elektrische Heizvorrichtung diese die vorher vom' Wasser aufgenommene Wärme nunmehr durch den Block dem Temperaturregler zuführt und ihn in Tätigkeit setzt.
