Abstract

La invención se refiere a un proceso para la preparación de precursores inmediatos para la preparación de piroxasulfona y fenoxasulfona de fórmula (1). El proceso comprende una reacción de bromación de una posición bencílica sin irradiación de luz (etapa a), seguido de una reacción de tionación, que sustituye al átomo de bromo (etapa b) y después eliminar el grupo protector, y el tiol o tiolato revelado reacciona con una isoxazolina sustituida que lleva un grupo saliente en la posición 3 (etapa c). Esquemas 1 y 2, en donde Y = grupo protector. En otra variante de la invención los precursores inmediatos de piroxasulfona o fenoxasulfona se sintetizan a partir de bromuro de arilmetilo formando en primer lugar un enlace carbono-azufre en la posición 3 de una 2-isoxazolina a través del desplazamiento de un grupo saliente en la posición 3 (particularmente restos derivados ácidos tales como grupos fosforilo, sulfanilo, halo, ciano o carboxilo) mediante un reactivo tionante apropiado. Los aductos resultantes, que es una 3-tio-2-isoxazolina S-protegida, se pueden tratar con base para eliminar el grupo protector, para revelar un tiol o tiolato que posteriormente puede reaccionar con el bromuro de arilmetilo para formar el precursor inmediato piroxasulfona o fenoxasulfona. Esquema 3, Ar = arilo, Y = grupo protector y X = grupo saliente. Reivindicación 1: Un proceso para preparar compuestos de las fórmulas (1) ó (1’) que comprende las siguientes etapas: a) bromación de un material de partida seleccionado de los siguientes compuestos: de fórmula (4) ó (4’) para obtener los siguientes compuestos: de fórmula (3) ó (3’) respectivamente; b) tionación del compuesto resultante de la etapa a con un agente tionante para obtener los siguientes compuestos: de fórmula (2) ó (2’) respectivamente en donde Y es un grupo protector; c) sustitución del tiol o tiolato resultante creado a partir de los compuestos de fórmulas (2) ó (2’) de la etapa b por un resto 2-isoxazolina para producir el compuesto de fórmula (1). Reivindicación 7: Un proceso para preparar un compuesto de fórmulas (3) ó (3’) que comprende compuestos de bromación de fórmulas (4) ó (4’), respectivamente, con un reactivo de bromación en ausencia de irradiación de luz.
