Abstract

Un método para corregir un cambio de amplitud en una salida de un instrumento espectrométrico (300), que comprende exponer una muestra desconocida en un soporte de muestra (600) a radiación electromagnética en una pluralidad de números de onda; detectar mediante el instrumento espectrométrico (300) intensidades de absorción electromagnética en la muestra desconocida en la pluralidad de números de onda; hacer accesible a un dispositivo informático (510) asociado con el instrumento espectrométrico (300) las intensidades de absorción detectadas indexadas contra el número de onda como datos espectrales; y aplicar por medio del dispositivo informático (510) una transformación matemática (Iᶜₒʳʳ) a los datos espectrales para corregir un cambio de amplitud en la salida del instrumento espectrométrico (300) y calculado determinando una diferencia (D(SBZ)/) entre valores de absorbancia en dos rangos de número de onda diferentes en una primera derivada de datos espectrales (SBZ/) de una muestra de material cero; y calcular la transformación matemática (Iᶜₒʳʳ) como una función inversamente dependiente de la diferencia determinada (D(SBZ)/).
