Abstract
Esqueletos principales metal-orgánicos que tienen una estructura nuclear repetitiva que en general incluye un conector coordinado a una unidad de construcción secundaria a través de enlaces O-metal-O. Los esqueletos principales metal-orgánicos se pueden usar para producir ácido acrílico a partir de óxido de etileno y monóxido de carbono a escala industrial. La producción puede incluir diversas operaciones unitarias, que incluyen por ejemplo un sistema para la producción de b-propiolactona configurado para producir b-propiolactona a partir de óxido de etileno y monóxido de carbono; un sistema para la producción de polipropiolactona configurado para producir polipropiolactona a partir de b-propiolactona; y un sistema para la producción de ácido acrílico configurado para producir ácido acrílico con alta pureza por termólisis de la polipropiolactona.
