Abstract

Proteínas, nucleótidos y polipéptidos insecticidas, su expresión en las plantas, métodos para producir los polipéptidos, procesos, técnicas de producción, polipéptidos, formulaciones, polipéptidos sintéticos, organismos y un proceso que aumenta el rendimiento de la producción de péptidos insecticidas desde sistemas de expresión de levadura. La presente también se relaciona y divulga toxinas denominadas AVP, que están modificadas desde la toxina Av3 obtenida de la anémona de mar; en la presente describimos los genes que codifican el polipéptido, así como diversas formulaciones y combinaciones; tanto de genes como de péptidos, útiles para el control de insectos. Reivindicación 1: Un AVP que tiene actividad insecticida contra una o más especies de insectos, donde dicho AVP tiene al menos una de las siguientes mutaciones: a) una mutación N-terminal que reemplaza a la arginina aminoterminal con un aminoácido lisina (R1K) en relación con la SEQ ID Nº 1, b) una deleción del aminoácido valina C-terminal en relación con la SEQ ID Nº 1.
