Abstract
Un método para la síntesis de titanato de litio, comprendiendo el método las etapas de: (i) hacer reaccionar una fuente de iones de titanio con una fuente de iones de litio a mayor temperatura en uno o más recipientes de reacción durante un período de tiempo; y (ii) calcinar el producto de la etapa (i) para generar un producto de titanato de litio que tiene una estructura de cristal de tipo nano-tubo. También se divulgan un material de electrodo producido por medio del método de la presente y una batería de ión de litio que utiliza el material de electrodo.
