Abstract

La presente proporciona aparatos y métodos mejorados para el monitoreo y control de aparatos diseñados para remover la humedad de un producto inicialmente húmedo, tal como un secador continuo (14). La tasa neta de remoción de agua del producto húmedo (16) se determina durante el secado de este, preferentemente, en tiempo real. Una disposición de control (20) está acoplada operativamente con el secador (14) e incluye sensores (24, 26, 28, 34), que están acoplados operativamente con un controlador digital (38). El controlador (38) tiene un controlador PID operable para determinar continuamente la tasa neta promedio de remoción de agua del producto (16).
